Stayed here 6 nights in a row. +1 or even more! to the followings: - kindness and capability of reception - warmness of shower booth / restroom (It's definitely awesome) - free Nespresso in library - comfortable beds - above-average-level amenities, great room cleaning - location of hotel (not too far from Zurich HB, close train/tram station)

Beautifuly decorated attic suite we stayed it. It was quite roomy for the 3 of us and very comfortable. The hotel is about an 8 min walk to Zurich HB station and has lots of places nearby for a quick bite. We had the continental breakfast one morning and it wasn’t the best for kids so we skipped it after that. We would return to this hotel on our next trip for sure!!

I loved my stay at Helvetia. I was only in town for 2 nights and the location gave me easy access to everything- restaurants, bars, shops, old town, train station, the lake. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The room was cozy but clean and comfortable. Would highly recommended!

Plenty of room for the four of us to stay and 15 min walk to Olde city with plenty of shops and spots to eat. We would stay again.

Close to the train station; lots of character; quaint and convenient. It is on a busy corner, but the windows and shades make it quiet and dark(er). I've stayed here before and both times were good visits.

Sehr charmantes Hotel. Ich hatte ein Zimmer im ersten Stock mit Terrasse auf die Sihl.

Das Helvetia bleibt sich treu: reduziertes individueles Design, kleines Haus mit big city Ambiente, persönliche Atmosphäre. Die Bar ist weiter top geführt. Danke und bis bald. 😊

We had a fantastic stay in Zurich and the Helvetia hotel was perfectly located for everything we wanted to do. Great facilities, great staff. Highly recommend.

Hotel was great and located in a fantastic area.

we booked a family room and it turned out to be spacious. Just wish the room was brighter and had more lighting. Also would be nice to have more firm pillows.

We only stayed for one night, however the hotel was clean, reception was very pleasant and the room was comfortable. The heated floors and river views really made the stay extra special.

Great location and the attic rooms are spacious and comfortable. Front door could use a new coat of paint…and since that is the first thing you see when we arriving, and first impressions mean something, it would be nice if those kind of maintenance items were taken care of; same goes for the mildew found on the shower ceiling and tiles in our room. Overall we love this place and have stayed a few times and are happy to call the Helvetia home when we are in Zurich. But, the property does need some attention.

The property was easy to walk to from the train station, a very accessible and convenient location. The staff was exceptionally helpful, including the restaurant staff who accommodated us for dinner in a private dining area. What an incredible hotel!
