a bit strange forcing guest to follow their own schedule changing. (In the morning, all of sudden, they asked me to check out by 9:30 due the owner had a plan to go to somewhere (?) and asked me to pay a bill while I was having breakfast. When I came back with my credit card, they didn't want to proceed it for the reason they were having breakfast...@@ so I went back to my room then in 5 mins they knocked the door to ask me to pay @@ They knocked the door several times to say paying or to remind me to check out by 9.30.. ) Breakfast should be cleanly prepared..I found something n told them. they gave me new onrle but I already lost my appetites. Tap water in the public bathroom has only cold water...had to wash my face and brish my teeth with freezing cold water...

My family visited Milky House Inn in Niseko during the week of Christmas. The place is walking distance (5 mins) to Ski slope. The house staff are very friendly and go out of their ways to accomodate customer needs; my mother needed a phone charger so one staff drove one of us to a near by 7-eleven late at night. The owner of the place offers guests shuttle services to the ski resort and to hot spring places around the neighborhood at night. The homecooked meals are decent (they serve b'fast and dinner) and they offer 3rd party ski/snowboard rental services that is chepaer than the ski resort. If you can handle shared bathrooms, given the price range vs. other plaes around I would recommend the place. The place is overall neat and the friendly staffs were very helpful.

We stayed as a family of four for 5 nights. PROS: - location was great, within walking distance to Anapuri - the breakfast was great and changed daily which was nice - the shared bathroom was clean - it did feel family friendly and we liked meeting other folks in the common area CONS: - our room was ok - the heater and fridge didn’t work and it was clean-ish - you have to walk through the dining area to access the communal showers which felt odd - the staff also utilized the common areas so sometimes it was hard to know who was actually working and it felt like we were an inconvenience at times when we were asking for things like coffee in the morning - in general, we felt the service was lacking for what we paid

Everything and everyone was great!

My partner, me, and a friend stayed from January 12th to the 16th, 2026. Location: Just a five-minute walk to Niseko Annapuri ski lodge and lift chairs. 15 minutes walk in snow to an Onsen (Niseko Hot Spring Ikoino Yuyado Iroha). You will want to coordinate a shuttle from the Kutchan train station, or a taxi beforehand. We made the mistake of arriving in the evening and not pre-arranging an Uber - we were lucky to hitch a ride with a private shuttle for a guide (we paid a premium due to the last-minute plan). Check-in & staff: Staff were great, always available when needed, coordinated a shuttle back to Kutchan, we shipped our gear from New Chitose Room: The room was clean, beds were a little small (normal for Japan so no complaints). There were 2 beds and a loft. The beds were good for our taste. Not too noisy, but it is a bed and breakfast so you will get used to hearing people walking down the hall. Everyone was mindful and quiet as expected. Amenities: There was WiFi, but I did not use it as I had a pre-paid SIM (highly recommend if travelling in a foreign country!). Breakfast was AMAZING AND FREE, 3-4 course dinners were phenomenal, and a good value (3100 yen), plenty of ski storage; AMAZING BAR Value: Very worth the price Issues: There was a power issue the last night of our stay, but the hotel was warm and cozy, it was quickly fixed Best for: Skiiers, snowboarders Verdict: I WOULD GO BACK!

Ambiance très chalereuse, comme en chalet avec coin cheminee et espace de repos, restauration en plus du Cafe bar, vraiment beau. Staff très a l ecoute, très ouvert, et disponible. Cuisine très variee, et de qualité. Bravo , très agréable net surpris par cette qualité et ambiance montagnarde. Je recommande et reviendrait.

Small but personable and friendly Inn. Good value for money - a local drop off and pick up service. Nice breakfast that varies every day.

Loved staying at Milky house, would definitely stay again. It's a 10-minute walk to the Annupuri Gondola, had a cute little bar on-site for great apres drinks and a food cart that was there each evening. In addition the dinners and breakfast served at Milky were amazing! The staff were so kind and accommodating.

I rated them excellent on everything, especially customer service thanks to a medical emergency. They helped out with immensely. The one area that was a little bit more challenging was the fact that it’s an older building and you have to expect some idiosyncrasies but was well maintained. The location and staff are what stand out most!

The staff were so helpful in arranging lift passes, ski rentals and transportation. Great family vibe with home cooked comfort food. All meals were excellent. The onsite cafe/bar was an added bonus. The staff were all super friendly and made us feel welcome at all times.

Overall this property is very good.. give you a home feeling while travel in niseko.. but only one thing is the bath room only.. you have to queue to take bath.. and if is peak season.. u gonna wait.. But overall..its very nice to stay.. the food is nice and impress me alot..

The service is superb. Milky house fetched us from Niseko JR station upon arrival. This has minimised our hazard from finding transport to access the hotel. The breakfast and dinner served is fabulous.
