Room was 3 floors up,small room,very basic,clean but bed was hard and really uncomfortable. Also very noisy ,could hear them coming in at 3am!!. Very limited teas and coffees in room,and continental breakfast ready laid out for next day. there was no additional tea/coffee until Tavern opened at lunchtime .

Staff are very helpful and friendly. The room was good size and clean. The location was very convenient. Free parking in front of the building until 10am in the morning (you have to get a disk from reception and display it). However, the room has very poor sound proofing - I could hear people next door talking and snoring. It’s also above a pub so there was a bit of noise from the street. The fridge in the room was a nice touch but noisy. Overall we didn’t have a good night’s sleep unfortunately…

Great location and staff great but our room was a little too small, no outside windows would stay again but not that room.

We had a motorcycle and unfortunately someone tried to move it overnight, luckily it had steering lock and a chain on and was still upright, apart from that our stay was lovely, people very friendly and accommodating

Nice distances from places of interest and food. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the kitchen was out of action, but the staff were accommodating in this issue. I we really enjoyed are stay.

Very clean and comfortable, just what we needed for our 1 night weekend stay in Alnwick. Centrally located so close to all restaurants and bars. Thanks

Enjoyed my stay although it hadn't been particularly clear when booking that due to a recent fire in the kitchen, the venue wasn't currently serving food. Plenty of places nearby to eat but it would have been good to have been forewarned.

I was only there for 1 night but for me it was quite comfy and close to Morrisons for snakes

The room we were given was not the room booked. The shower was awful, there was no hairdryer, the venue does not have a working kitchen, hence no food available. The toilet leaked and finally the host refused to accept that I had paid before arrival even though I showed him my payment acknowledgment on my banking app. Would not recommend this place.

We arrived at the premises to find the bar & restaurant closed due to a kitchen fire, only informed by notices in the windows, no advance warning. Rooms still open, but had to ring a couple of numbers to get hosts to let us into the property. Main reason for choice was the excellent reviews we'd read about the food! Sadly no food, or drink, during our stay. Breakfast offered was a croissant each left in the fridge with a bottle of orange juice. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. (It was my birthday treat.) However, room lovely & warm, clean & the bed was comfortable. Quiet too, for being on the front of the property. Had our own keys to come & go, & parking right outside, with a parking disc. The host informed us the kitchen will be closed for months to come.

Staff were very friendly. Food was incredible.

Our stay here was only for one night, the room was very dated,but bedding clean & bed comfortable. Tea & coffee making facilities were good. Bathroom did smell damp, but appears to have a leak from the toilet. Staff were very nice and welcoming, the food that night was very nice. Very convenient location for our trip.

You have to understand you're staying in a heritage building, within a town centre, above a busy, excellent pub/resteraunt. To some extent, the bedroom is a secondary consideration. However, staff very friendly, room warm & comfortable, food excellent and ideal for exploring Alnwick. Great stay, but don't expect the Ritz.

We had no power or electricity. We were unable to use the lights and could not use the power shower. The issue was not resolved before we checked out.

Good location and facilities in the bedroom with fridge and decent tea tray. I would have given the property condition and facilities a better rating if the bathroom had been updated, it was clean but a bit tired. It wouldn't stop me from staying here again.

Ideally situated in the middle of the town. Nice bar area with excellent food.

When arrived greeted with a friendly smil and welcome / food in restaurant was exceptional easy access to room when pub shut easy check out

Supposed to be a great steak house, worst feed ever. Room was very shabby, bathroom was disgusting.

We had fabulous time staying in this busy pub/ eatery with all the staff extremely friendly wished we could have stayed longer
