This night was plesant surprise for our fmaily of three. It was not only a place to stay it provided an experience we will never forget. First of all if you dont appreciate History or architecture go somewhere else this one is not for you. Others that do step in to Mayan inn to take a beautiful walk in the past. The room was elegant, the pieces of furniture exquisite 👌. The plumbing was a little bit lacking but the water was hot. I really appreciate how hard they have worked to keep the original character of the hotel. Our room had an open fire ready to go. Having a fire in the elegant room last night felt like i was magicaly transported to the 1930s. I hope others can experience this magic as well.

Hôtel avec beaucoup de charme (ancien couvent) très bien placé à 2 pas du marché. Chambre spacieuse avec beaucoup de cachet comme d’ailleurs toutes les parties communes ( seule ombre au tableau la plomberie comme dans la plupart des hôtels visités au Guatemala jusque-là) Personnel adorable que ce soit à l’accueil, à la sécurité ou au restaurant (merci à Tomas pour sa gentillesse) où nous avons très bien dîné. L’hotel à réserver sans aucun doute si l’on vient pour le marché. Enfin le plus ,le feu de cheminée dans la chambre.

The room was clean. It was cold during our stay, so having a fireplace was nice. Our toilet stopped working during our last night there so we had to use the toilets in the common area. Shower was a mystery, we managed hot water just once. Breakfast was ok, nothing to remember. I would not recommend dinner there, our food was cold. Great location, but overall we thought it isn’t worth what we paid for it.

Low rating because they put us in a clausterphobic triple room when we booked a large open double room. Noise was horrible! Didn't sleep. It was only one night so we let it go.

Staff was wonderful, especially the waiters and room attendants.

Nuestra experiencia en el hotel fue en general positiva. El lugar es bonito y las habitaciones tienen una atmósfera muy acogedora. Nos alojamos en una suite para tres personas y la chimenea en la habitación fue, sin duda, uno de los mejores detalles: la utilizamos durante la noche y fue una experiencia muy linda y especial. Por otro lado, el baño presentó varios inconvenientes. La presión del agua era mínima y el funcionamiento del inodoro no fue el adecuado. Tardaba muchísimo en llenarse y, en ocasiones, tuvimos que ayudar llenándolo con vasos para poder tirar de la cadena, lo cual resultó incómodo. El desayuno incluido estuvo bien y cumplió con lo esperado. Sin embargo, por la tarde quisimos tomar un café y había muy poco personal disponible. Además, por la noche el restaurante que se nos había informado que estaría abierto para la cena se encontraba cerrado. Entendemos que coincidió con un fin de semana de fiestas en el pueblo, pero aun así fue algo inesperado y tuvimos que salir a cenar al parque. A pesar de estos detalles, el personal fue siempre muy amable y atento. Es un hotel con mucho encanto y, con algunas mejoras en los servicios y mantenimiento, sin duda podría ser una experiencia excelente.

Wonderful staff, a very beautiful and historic hotel within a very short walk to the market. The breakfast is great! This is a very special hotel and would highly recommend the experience.

The room was very noisy. It was next to the street and I couldn't get some rest. It was super cold and the room did not have heater. A portable one would help.

Nauwelijks lauw (na 5 minuten) maar zeker nooit warm water. Spleten en kieren in ramen en voordeur. Koude kamer, enkel op te warmen met open haard. En als de beperkte voorraad hout verstookt is, moet je extra betalen om je kamer een klein beetje op temperatuur te krijgen.

La chambre est charmante, on sent toute l’histoire de cet ancien cloître, et le patio et ses accès en disent long, en plus d’être très beaux. Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable aux petits soins. L’hôtel a deux pas du cimetière et du centre mais au calme. Cet hôtel est incontournable à Chichicastenango.

Personnel très avenant et sympathique. Propreté impeccable. Chambre rustique avec foyer en pierre des champs. Atmosphère relaxante et services complets, incluant la buanderie. 1re qualité dans tout ce qu'ils font dans cet hôtel. Nous avons vraiment apprécié! Une seule ombre au tableau : la plomberie est quelque peu déficiente, comme dans la plupart des hôtels au Guatemala!
