Nice big room, big comfortable bed and good sized tv. Lovely breakfast and great service from Dee and James. Although the hotel is dated it has been really well looked after and run by Dee and James, its a shame the buildings owners wont invest in the upkeep and it is closing. We would stay again if it were possible to do so. Good luck Dee and James!

Had a 4 night stay to attend a friend’s wedding. Very clean tidy. Breakfast served 8.30 to 9.30, although agreed to starting a few minutes earlier so that we could make at a 9am meeting. Lots of steps and no lift. 20 minute walk into centre of St Helier.

Hotel accessible à pied depuis le centre ville de St Hélier. Un air vintage qui a son charme. Excellente literie. Petit déjeuner anglais possible en plus des classiques pain, céréales. Je recommande cet hôtel pour le prix raisonnable et pour ceux qui ne cherchent pas le luxe. Accueil sympathique.

We enjoyed our stay at Talana. It has a pleasant friendly atmosphere.

Sporadic front desk personnel. A bit run down

Hearty breakfast with friendly staff. We stayed 7 nights and would have liked a bit more variation/ choices eg fresh fruit/ porridge/ yoghurt. Small private pool, nice for an evening swim. Decor is a bit dated but all facilities worked as they should. On the bus route 2 with a few convenience stores close by.

Group of friends on a short break. Rooms were lovely and clean and comfortable. Furniture could be classed as outdated, but we thought this added a certain charm to the rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, and we enjoyed this every morning. To walk into the centre of St Helier was a comfortable 10-to-15-minute walk and mostly flat. The walk to the beak from the hotel about 10 minutes. My friends in the next bedroom felt that the twin bed mattresses both needed to be replaced as they both felt a spring pushing through. We enjoyed our stay at the Talana and would recommend.

For a 2 star hotel it was lovely the staff and service was spot on. The breakfast was really nice, the bed was incredibly comfortable. With alittle tlc to the car park, the furniture in the rooms and the outside sign itself it can easily be a 3 star !

Nice hotel very clean and very helpful and polite staff

Good value for money hotel, room was comfortable and spacious, breakfast was really good. Convenient location not too far to walk to bus station, town and sea front.

Great breakfast and friendly staff

Staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Room was clean with comfortable bed. Sink tap and showerhead leaking but didnt affect performance. Very small tv but we didn't come to Jersey to watch tv. Plenty of tea/coffee in room. Breakfast was fine. Free wifi was only available in reception and dining area, not in room. Hotel would benefit from an upgrade as it is rather dated and tired although the location was on number 2 bus route with St Helier, beach and local area bars/restaurants all easily walkable

Hotel très bon rapport qualité /prix. La gérante est adorable, très serviable et super accueillante. Le personnel est super gentil aussi

We have stayed here three times now and have no complaints whatsoever. Very clean, comfortable and excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely immaculately kept. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is dated, but this is reflected in the price. There are also facilities like a bar, swimming pool and pool table :-)

Service and facilities very good, staff friendly and cleanliness excellent, only negative which really isn't a biggy was room very dated décor and furniture, apart from that excellent, breakfast was fantastic, easy walk to town centre, would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Really nice stay, great staff, very clean, lovely breakfast, just a bit quiet area, nowhere close to eat, even a takeaway! Great bus service in St Helier 👍
