아침 일찍 도착해서 체크인하기전까지 짐만 좀 맡겨달라고 요청했는데, 그냥 일찍 체크인 해주는 너무나 감사한 서비스, 훌륭한 사우나와 수영장, 상태도 너무 좋았고, 스노우보딩하고온 피로를 한번에 풀수 있었네요. 조식도 훌륭했고, 위치도 역에서 가까워 접근성도 좋고, 스키승강장까지 셔틀버스 이용등 너무 편리했습니다. 정말 다음번에 가족들 모두 데리고 와서 다시 한번 투숙하고 싶네요.

4인가족이다보니 Junior Suite로 예약을 했는데, 도착전에 이미 간의침대 및 아이들 Bath tube까지 준비 다 해주시고. 체르마트 하이킹 이후 호텔 내에서 아이들은 수영 어른은 사우나 할 수 있어서 좋았습니다.

Super hard bed but the LOCATION….SUPERB. Boutique hotel that offered a perfectly sized solo room however the bed was too firm for me. But again the LOCATION …. Superb.

Great place to stay in Zermatt. Very comfortable feel. It checks all the boxes. Ski lockers with helmet and glove dryers. Tennis and squash. Nice spa facility. And I dare you not to gain weight at the breakfast.

This was the worst hotel experience I've had in 50 years. The hotel is OK at best. The real issue is after we checked in and we're given our room, it was small, dirty and outdated. We look at other hotels in Zermatt and decided we wanted to change given this was a special vacation for us. Hotel Alex owners offered zero flexibility with their cancelation policy and charged us the full value for our entire stay ($1,800 USD). We were asking for a fair compromise, not a full refund. We left after 1 night. AMEX and Expedia were unable to help us due to their archaic policies. DO NOT BOOK here unless you are willing to live with what you get upon arrival. The staff, besides the owners (husband and wife) were all very nice. The husband Rene wouldn't return my phone calls or speak with me at all. So sad that there is such greed in the world.

The property is in a central and very convenient location. It’s less than a 5-minute walk from the train station. The staff was great and helpful. The room was a bit too warm for my liking but not a huge deal. Overall, a solid property.

We came to Zermatt last year and wanted to stay at Hotel Alex but others in the group did not and we ended up staying elsewhree at a nice place with no restaurant or gym but near the Matterhorn Express lift. This year after a group trip fell through we decided to give the Hotel Alex a try. It a much better experience in Zermatt. The location is perfect, right next to the train station and the coop is right across the street. The gym was great and I am a non skier so used it often. The vibe of the hotel is great. The staff are all wonderful, like you kind of expect from a family owned hotel. The restaurant for half board in the evening was amazing. You can add it for a reasonable fee each day and go out if you dont like the menu of the half board. The food at dinner was overall wonderful. The Raclette on Monday was a treat as was the desert buffet one day. The half board portions are fine and can enjoy multiple courses. Their wine list is extensive. I highly recommend the Hotel Alex. It was a great week in Zermatt.

Um dos melhores hoteis que já fiquei hospedado. É considerado 4 estrelas mas considero 5. Atendimento, historia, comida nota 10. Algumas partes são antigas, mas considero isso como atmosfera do lugar. Apenas 2 minutos da estaçao de trem e 7 do lift.

Upon arrival I paid for two good rooms they were the same price they tried to say they upgraded me and then in the middle my trip they told me I needed to wake up early the next day and go to a different room and they said they forgot to tell me upon check in. I’m not sure how many people they’ve done this too. It was the first time this was done to me and it was completely unacceptable.

It was simply amazing! Family owned since the 1960s…. Every detailed was impeccable.

The resort is funky and eclectic and in a great location, but some of the staff were quite rude with no reason. We did not have any heat in our room all night, and the young lady at the front desk was completely dismissive of our efforts to remedy. We also did not have any hot water in the room until some four hours after check-in; again, no great sympathy was displayed. Such a shame as our stay in Zermatt was lovely overall, and we even enjoyed this funky little hotel, despite the very rude and cold girl at the front desk, and even colder water and room at night!
