Value for the money.

Property is located at a distance of around 500mtr from Gandhi Chowk. Ground floor to 4th floors offers great view of valley. Food is great.

It was ok Type Stay

Spacious rooms. View from every room. Breakfast served had good varieties. Food is also very good. Very well behaved staff. Has a play room too to involve your kids in odd hours.

Hotel has all basic facilities but its very old. We had a bad experience because we were told rooms have valley view but our Presidential rooms were on the lowest level with no view. Avoid presidential rooms if valley view is a priority.

Unfortunately there was a snowfall and road was blocked from bus stand. We reached at about 9.30 pm and we have to walk on the ice in dark for 1.8 km to reach hotel. When I called hotel they suggested to ask people and walk to hotel. After reaching hotel there was a confusion about my booking. The details they received from Hotels.com/Expedia was different than what I booked. Next day again there was a problem for breakfast. My booking was showing that breakfast was included but the confirmation received by hotel was showing only room plan. I tried to call hotels.com customer service but the number was busy and can not sort out the issue. Hotel management expressed their apology for

Lovely property , very friendly staff, special mention for Mr Vijay khatoch. Rooms were good but bathrooms could be far better, they could easily be upgraded

The location is superb.. inbetween Subhas Chowl and Gandhi Chowk .. view from the rooms is superb .. try the Maharaja Corner room ... food is expensive and not up to the mark .. rooms not that clean ..

The location of the hotel (not a resort actually) is very good.Walking distance from the market. the view from the hotel is rooms is awesome. The quality of rooms is good but not worth the cost which we paid. Room size (Maharaja) is good with a decent sized bathrooms but the fall seal sealing had dampness on our floor suggesting fungus growth inside (although it could not be seen). The walls outside the room also had bit of dampness especially on our floor i.e 3rd. There is a small terrace for the kids to play but no other play area. Food quality of breakfast was average not worth the cost. The parking space is limited within the hotel but cars can be parked on the main road (Paid Parking but not informed by the hotel staff and had to bear the extra cost and pay the fine). Insist on a parking space at the reception desk and they will arrange it for you. This is a place with scenic beauty, nice location but with average quality food, without any garden or play area for kids. Worth a stay if you get it at around 2500-3500Rs/room with breakfast. Over all for us it was a nice stay at Dalhousie.

Stay was ok. Was not happy with rooms alloted

Our family visited Dalhousie in the 1st week of October..After long speculation we had booked 2 Maharaja rooms in Snow Valley and must say it was upto the mark from all aspects & trust me you will not regret your decision...The moment we entered our room we were so overwhelmed with the spectacular view from the huge glass window/pane..Also, the rooms-beautifully decorated & clean, the bed-very comfy,the washroom-very clean, the service & hospitality-the best..the special divaan (or i donno what you may call it!!) kind of seating was awesome...we enjoyed our morning tea sitting there along with the mesmerizing view :)...the hotel is centrally located in Dalhousie & can boast of its awesome location - proximity to mall road, gandhi chowk & subash chowk !!!..Also Panchpula is very nearby..3 Km approx..The buffet spread for breakfast & dinner was generous and toooo yummy !!! Loved the food a lot !! Also, the person at the reception (sorry for not asking his name) was very helpful & prompt...Wifi service with good speed...and the icing on the cake was the complimentary DJ and snacks nite that they provided !!..each one of us njoyed a lot..cant stop raving about it !!!...would surely visit again & recommend others too !!...Keep up the good work :)

Hotel location is very good but the service of restaurant is very slow.

We had booked 7 rooms for 2 nights under MAP plan. We had been to Chandigarh, Manali & Dharamsala before reaching Dalhousie. This was the most expensive property that we had booked & going by the blog reviews, we had high expectations from Snow Valley Resorts. However we were very disappointed as the food quality (Breakfast as well as dinner) was far from desirable. For the price that we paid the spread was very basic & limited. When we asked for fruits for breakfast they provided us with bananas (can you beat that !!!!) & that too on day 2. As for day 1, guess what - they said that their fruit supplies did not reach the hotel though the market is only 10 min walk away. Saw other guests registering similar concerns. Even for the drivers, the hotel did not have a dormitory arrangement & neither did they provide complementary food which most of the other hotels were doing.

The room we got was nice, clean and cozy. People at hotel were very helpful. Our package included dinner and breakfast. Food was quite good. Overall our experience in Snow Valley Resorts was wonderful. i will recommend this hotel.

It was awesome to stay at this hotel. Location of hotel is great. View from hotel is awesome. Staff of hotel is very good & cooperative. Food available in hotel is tasty . 24hrs hot water . I was very happy staying in this hotel.
