They are renovating the rooms. However it is definitely not worth the price…the rooms are very small. When I booked the room it said approximately $190 an evening. The next night they charged me $315…so be careful

The room was newly renovated and clean.pool.was under construction and I didn't know that when I booked ,not that it would have changed my mind staying there. Breakfast was ok..not thrilled with the containers they use to keep the food hot..not very effective . A tray would be helpful to carry breakfast. Quite a few choices.

Swimming pool was out of service

room was clean and the window could be open so fresn air can get in! there was no pool due to construction. there was no hair dryer in the room. service was great !

The Hotel does not advertise that the Pool is Closed, Hot Tub and other amenities are closed as the Hotel is under renovation as of May 12 2026. The Microtel wouls also not offwr any refund , dont book a stay at this Hotel in Timmins

It was fine for the 9hrs we were there. Breakfast was not great but the room was clean. They should empty the fridge between guests though. I guess the previous occupant had chips as there was everything necessary to make dip in the fridge....

Room was great but the hotel is under renovation and there was construction material throughout the hotel. As well they closed the pool and hot tub in order to use the area for storage. That was one of the reasons I booked there so I was not happy.

Did not get to have breakfast or use the amenities as i had an early flight. I had a good sleep though.

Breakfasts the sausage and hash browns could've been cooked a little long. Over all it was clean. Unstand the pool was not available because of renovations, that was sad. Would stay there again.

Pool was out of service at the time of check in which was very disappointing for my kids. I booked online months in advance anticipating a working pool and hot tub so that was a big negative to our stay. Everything else was good though, wish they would have served bacon at one of the breakfasts

Good till I had to get money from the A T M , the personal worker at the desk was watching , he was watching me using the ATM which did not have money , so I went to him , asking him about the ATM, and actually mentioned that there was no Money …. He should have known and politely said before I used ….

Crying baby in the room next door when the horl wasnt fully booked. Pool was shut down Staff kept knocking at my door. 3 times between 9am and 1045

I chose this hotel for the pool, but it was closed. Breakfast buffet starts at 0630 too late for my morning flight

Clean rooms and great location.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which made a positive impression. The rooms were also well-maintained and clean, contributing to a comfortable environment. However, I did encounter some issues. Unfortunately, the steam room and hot tub were not operational during my visit, which was disappointing as I had looked forward to using those amenities. Additionally, I felt that the room prices were relatively high for the location, especially considering the lack of access to certain facilities.

This hotel is not maintained for cleanliness. The lobby was not being mopped and always looked wet and sandy. There were Oreos and cherrios in the hand sanitizer in the elevator that stayed there for the duration of our stay. The toilet almost made me throw up. It was stained orangish brown by where the screws hold the lid. Our first room had a window open and the crank wouldn’t close it so we had to move. Our second room the lock on the bathroom didn’t close. We left a day early needless to say.

It’s really expensive for what we got. The room seems cramped … we hear everything…
