As a person that usually uses modern hotels I tried this Riad and now the bar is set for Riads. Attention to detail from the owner and their team was an eye opener. The owner actually comes and talks with you. The place is immaculate too. The breakfast is huge and couldn’t finish either day and I am one that can eat double my weight

We feel very lucky to have stayed here after a two-week tour of Morocco. The owner and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.The riad is lovingly restored to the afro-andalusian style by the owners. One of our precious memories of Morocco is simply spending time relaxing in the riad.

Absolutely magical! Our stay at this riad in the heart of Marrakesh’s medina was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported into a beautifully restored traditional oasis—authentic Moroccan architecture, intricate tilework, and peaceful courtyards that felt like a dream. The riad was spotless throughout, with every detail thoughtfully maintained. Our room was both cozy and elegant, with touches of local charm and comfort that made it hard to leave. Laurence was incredible—warm, welcoming, and full of knowledge. She gave us the best advice on local spots to explore, helped us plan day trips, and made sure we experienced Marrakesh beyond the tourist trail. The rest of the staff were equally amazing—attentive, kind, and always ready to help with a smile. If you’re looking for a genuine and unforgettable experience in Marrakesh, we would definitely recommend Riad Charme d’Orient. This Riad is a true gem!

Nous avons fait plusieurs riad et hotels au Maroc, et la Riad Charme d’Orient a été de loin la plus exceptionnelle que nous avons fait. Tout, de l’accueil par Said, Sofian et Fatima, la communication avec Laurence, la propreté, service personnalisé et calme de la Riad fait qu’elle est un incontournable si vous voulez visiter Marrakech. Elle a fait de notre séjour dans cette ville un véritable plaisir. La ville bouge beaucoup, peut être stressante mais dès que nous entrons dans la riad nous nous sentons chez soi. Mention spéciale, l’odeur dans la riad et les chambres, nous avons adorés❤️ il n’y à aucune autre riad avec une organisation / gentillesse / personnelle autant incroyable. Merci encore à vous de vos Québecois ; Vincent & Angélique !

Exemplar riad in Marrakech. Laurence and her staff are very attentive. Delicious traditional Moroccan food. Great location. Highly recommend.

Das war einer der besten Aufenthalte, die wir je hatten. Das Riad ist wunderschön, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Laurence und Said und ihr Personal sind herzlich, aufmerksam, empathisch und humorvoll. Es ist sauber und gut gelegen. Das Frühstück nimmt man auf einer Dachterrasse ein. Im Riad herrscht eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Wir haben uns einfach sehr wohlgefühlt und waren ein bisschen traurig, dass wir diesen wunderschönen Ort und die lieben Menschen an ihm verlassen mussten.

Great location with an easy walking distance to the main square and other attractions. Lovely hamam just around the corner. Beautiful room, good bed, lovely breakfast.

La première qualité de ce Riad est l'accueil chaleureux de Laurence et Said. Un service personnalisé. Les installations sont d'une beauté exceptionnelle et de grande qualité. C'est un havre de paix. L'équipe est très attentionnée à nos besoins. La nourriture est faite maison et est excellente. Nous recommandons ce Riad sans aucune hésitation. This Road was in a great position and walkable to nearly all the places we wanted to go. It was also just out of the way to be quiet. Beautifully kept with the beat staff. Lawrence and Said we're just delightful. Everything we wanted and more.

Laurence and her team, particularly Said, Souffian and Fatima provided us with a wonderful stay. The Riad is a charming oasis in the middle of the Kasbah. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast is superb. I would recommend the Charme D'Orient to anyone visiting Marrakech.

Très bel endroit, rien à redire. Accueil, services, nourriture, chambres… honnêtement nous n’avons pas trouver de défauts. De plus merci à Laurence, Said et Mohammed pour leurs conseils et leur gentillesse. Une chose est sur, si nous revenons à Marrakech, cela ce passera une nouvelle fois dans ce magnifique Riad.

Genuint fin och välskött riad där all personal var så himla trevliga och hjälpsamma. De hade även ett eget Hammam där vi tog en två - tre timmar lång behandling som var helt fantastisk, och dessutom väldigt prisvärd! En av de bästa riaderna jag bott på i Marrakesh - med bra läge, endast en kort promenad från alla sevärdheter och shopping.

What a wonderful hotel! The warmest welcome with friendly staff. Beautiful interior and cosy rooms. Staff incredibly helpful with all needs. Tremendous breakfast. Great quiet location close to local tombs/palaces and only 10 minute walk to main square. If going to Marrakech stay here!

Wonderful stay here. Laurence, Said, Soufiane and the team treated us like family. The Riad was gorgeous, tranquil and relaxing. Please have dinner here, the food is incredible, the best we had in Marrakech. The breakfast is great and will set you up for the day. Asnah, Fatimazhara and Warda kept the place spotless and were super friendly. Thanks again, Tom & Pam.

This is by far one of the best places we have stayed. Laurence and her staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help all their guests We were treated like family. The Riad itself is so incredibly beautiful and. artistically decorated in Moroccan style. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Laurence arranged our airport transfer and a wonderful all day tour. The Riad itself is in the Medina and within walking distance to all the attractions and Souks. If we return to Marrekech we will be sure to book this superb Riad We were so sad to leave Thank you so much !

We had the most incredible stay at Riad Charme d'Orient. Nothing was too much trouble for Laurence, Soufian, Said and team. We felt so safe and looked after the whole trip. Said organised a wonderful day trip for us to Ourika Valley. We also had a wonderful hammam experience at the Riad. We have give a special shout out to Soufian who is the kindest, most hard working and hospitable man we have both ever met. We were so sad to leave. Thank you for a very much needed break!

There wasn’t one thing that I didn’t like! Right from the moment I approached the front door I knew that this was going to be an incredible experience! And man,was I right! I was greeted by Said,warmly and very graciously.He explained all and any details regarding my stay,providing me with a map of the general area,places to see,etc.What a man❤️ Then I got to meet Laurence,the Lady of the Riad.What a joy!! Her warm smile and generous heart captivated me immediately! I felt so at home for my short stay and would never consider staying anywhere else ❤️ Along with Said and Laurence,Savyon prepared and served me a delicious dinner and another unforgettable experience.And hats off to Fatima and the other ladies of the staff who took great care of me!! Especially my endless need to drink the wonderful coffee up on the rooftop terrace! I’m sorry for making you have to go up and down those stairs so many times 😃❤️❤️ As you may imagine,it was very difficult to say goodbye ❤️❤️❤️

It was a perfect week. A delightful host and helpful staff. Near to the centre with spa facilities and a great breakfast. The people at the hotel made everything easy and pleasant. We will be back, definitely.

Ik heb ernorm genoten van mijn verblijf. De eigenares en haar personeel zijn super vriendelijk en zorgen ervoor dat je verwend wordt en je thuis voelt. Een echte aanrader!!
