It’s a treat to have had 2 bathrooms in the room for a family of 3. The beds were very comfortable and gave us a restful sleep. The location is convenient—just a short walk to the old town. Hotel parking is a 7-minute walk.

Ideally situated in Old Lyon, however the hotel is very small. It's a 4* hotel & the room was well-equipped but there was no storage space. As an internal room, the only window looked out onto the stairway so you needed to keep curtain shut for any privacy.

Loved this hotel! It was central to everything and very walkable. We had a car and were able to park, but they do need to figure out a way to give your pass for parking without having to return it because you can’t easily drop up to the hotel The staff were very sweet and the hotel was so cool and eclectic would definitely stay there again

Proche de la.presque ile et au coeur du vieux lyon. Beaucoup de restaurants autour. Chambre propre quoi qu un peu petite. Le personnel est tres aimable.

The location in Old Lyon was ideal. Many tours start at Place du Change, 50 m from the Académie Hotel.

Lovely small hotel in great location. Loved the free extras of water bottles for the room. Spacious rooms and really appreciated the separate bathroom and toilet in ours.

This hotel was unique and boutique. The room was quite spacious and wonderfully located.

Property is unique and very quiet considering location to bars etc.

The hotel is in a perfect location right in the old town. It was a very quiet area. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was quite spacious for 3 adults, however the sofa bed was the kitchen area which was a little tight. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed staying here.

Overhead shower did not work despite asking about it numerous times.

Great setup for family. Really liked decor and layout of hotel. Nice amenity to have sink in room and water flat and bubbly to put in glass bottles to take to room. Very clean and convenient.

The hotel is newly renovated and they did a great job. We loved the themed rooms. The welcome gift was a nice tough. The breakfast was good. The area was safe and there were a ton of options for food and sightseeing, all within walking distance of the hotel. I highly recommend staying at the Acadamie Hotel Lyon

From the outside, it’s doesn’t look like much- but the rooms were great .. so unique and beautiful- in old town right my all the action- one of our faves

We stayed with a larger group (our family + grandparents = 7 people) and appreciated the family suites- they came with two full bathrooms and a door that separated the sleeping areas. They were spacious and provided enough room for 2 adults and 1-2 kids to move around in easily. We appreciated the espresso machines/coffee as well as option to refill water pitchers with sparkling or still water from dispenser in lobby. Hotel is affiliated with the College Hotel across the street and this allowed us to do breakfast at their buffet; the Academie has a smaller breakfast set up that requires pre-notice; the buffet across the street was ample and had great staff as well. The location was ideal- right at the top of Vieux Lyon, where you'll find bouchons, shopping and access to the subway to get to all the other sights! Le Fines Gueules (bouchon) should not to be missed and just steps from the hotel's door.

The hotel more than met our expectations. Our family of 4 stayed in the room on the 4th floor and it had plenty of room for all of us. Would definitely stay again.
