메디나의 골목안에 위치한 호텔이라 택시로 찾아갈 때 과연 이게 호텔인가 하는 의구심이 들었지만 막상 안으로 들어가 보니 그만한 이유가 있었음, 직원의.말에 의하면 17세기에 지어진 건물을 이용한 호텔이라 흔히들 생각하는 현대적인 (?) 호텔 입구를 기대했다면 조금 실망할 수도 있음. 하지만 호텔안은 거의 옛날 가정집 느낌에 방안은 마치 박물관 같은 느낌. 화장실에서 냄새가 좀 나는 거랑 샤워기 수압이 낮은 것만 빼면 그 외는 아주 만족. 튀니스 자체에 대한 이미지가 너무 안 좋아 다시 방문할 생각은 없으나 호텔 자체는 아주 특별한 경험이었음

We've stayed in Dar ben Gacem two nights, Sana was a very generous, smiling and helpful host. I wish we could have stayed more in this place. Rooms was perfectly clean, the terrace was so nice.

These folks were so accommodating and friendly. We were welcomed and treated as treasured guests. The location so near the Unesco World Heritage Medina makes it so authentic.

The staff at Dar Ben Gacem truly take pride in caring for this place. Every staff member was so helpful, and the building is immaculate. Breakfast was delicious and fresh every morning. Would recommend.

This was a traditional Dar in the medina. Our room was small but wonderful. We loved staying here and walking around Tunis and the medina. The weather warmed up for us and we got to sit in the courtyard for an amazing breakfast and got to meet some new friends. Staff was lovely and helped with luggage up some stairs. I highly recommend staying here!

Very nice hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Its location is excellent, close to the Old Medina and shopping areas, making it convenient for exploring and enjoying the surroundings.

Sana and Dali were very friendly, pleasant and helpful. The medina location is perfect and quiet, sufficiently away from the huddle and bussle of the medina. A taxi can actually get quite near to the Dar.

Great location within Médina. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was very artistic and creatively designed. Got a good feel of life in a Dar. Would highly recommend.

If you want to be in the Messina, it’s perfectly located. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Room was good too.
