Hotel is very nice to stay. But it is not easy to travel without a car because of the public transport system is not affordable and though equiped its own pub (restaurant) in the hotel, there are few shops, restaurants, pubs etc within walking distance.

Great hotel with a nice setting. Food was very good and rooms spacious with lots of tea/coffee and milk.

We've stayed at Worplesdon Place before and always enjoy it. As always, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was extremely comfortable. We stayed here the night before a family wedding and the manager kindly gave us a late check-out so that we had more time in the room to get ready.

Me and my fiancé have stayed here at least twice a year for the last 3 years and we haven’t had any problems. All the staff are friendly and attentive. The grounds are breathtaking. And the food is top notch! If you have never been there before put it on your list.

The absolute best experience. We booked several rooms for a family party (90th birthday) and Tom and the Team went above and beyond for us multiple times. The rooms were fantastic, the atmosphere was great, the food and drink was wonderful and Kate and the Crew felt like part of the family from the outset. Thanks for the amazing memories - and see you for the next big occasion we hope.

Lovely staff, main building is beautiful and clean, sadly my room was not, especially the bathroom and the towel rail. I know I should have broached this with the staff, but honestly I'm no good at complaining. Beautiful grounds and lovely food.

The room was super clean and welcoming. Very nice honesty bar with some well needed snacks. Lovely guest toiletries in bathroom and everything you would need to have a pleasant & welcoming stay. The breakfast staff were particularly helpful and kind. I will be back when next in the area.

Bathroom was not clean, the majority of toilet bowl was stained brown.

Was a great little pub. Rooms could be a little better cleaned. Smell out of my bathroom and ceiling had water damage. The bar and restaurant was gorgeous. Food was outstanding. But when i went to check out the nxt day early for work i couldn't. As the reception/restaurant part doesn't open til 8am

The staff were brilliant! So warm and welcoming. I felt totally comfortable and understood at all times. The decor of the hotel and the room itself are just stunning (and extremely comfortable)! I booked a room with a free standing bath and it was the best. My room was immaculately clean and had literally everything I needed and wanted…from a very well stocked ‘honesty bar’ to beautiful bath salts. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, as were the views from my room. This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at and I’ve now booked again!! Thank you to everyone at Worplesdon Place for making it a truly wonderful experience 😄

Stayed two nights in two different rooms, not impressed, - firstly an an up front extra charge of £30 per night for chocolates, biscuits and sweets etc. which we did not want or use. We were told that this charge would be credited to our card after the rooms were serviced. The rooms were adequate, but not as nice as they used to be, and badly maintained. In room 29 the shower head fell off while having a shower. In room 15 the cold tap on the wash basin was loose and moved around when been turned on or off. The food was very disappointing my wife and I were not very hungry but decided to both have Beef Rib Starters only. The food was so salty that we did not finish our meals. We were however given complementary coffee. We would not choose to eat here again. We have stayed here over a period of many years but we feel that the standard has declined

I had requested in advance to have a bath in my room. When I arrived after then looking I was advised this was not possible. When I went for breakfast there were three tables in a row, the two end ones had dirty plates on them. I was asked to sit at the middle table. Which would have been fine if the other tables had then been cleared.
