It was an apartment-style hotel, so I could wash it, and there was a flamenco bar and Mercado nearby, so it was very comfortable. It was nice to enjoy the sunset of the Atlantic Ocean because it was close to the beach.

El alojamiento está bien ubicado cerca de la Caleta y a 10 min del centro andando, tiene garaje propio y el personal es el general amable. La habitación de una persona está bien,.es suficientemente amplia.Desgraciadamente la habitación no estaba del todo limpia a la llegada y las toallas tampoco, por lo que no puedo recomendarlo. La comunicación con el staff fue muy buena y se solucionó el problema, pero deben mejorar ese aspecto

Appartement très bien agencé, d’une propreté irréprochable et parfaitement équipé : tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin est présent dans chaque pièce. Le lit est particulièrement confortable. Les personnes de l’accueil ont été très sympathiques et a l’écoute !! Nous avons également beaucoup aimé le petit cadeau d’arrivée, qui a été une attention très appréciée. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. Merci encore !

It was pretty basic. No fancy lobby. Room was in good size. The reception was nice and helpful. The breakfast was fine with good selections of food. The location is good. It is close to the beach restaurants. The 3rd floor terrace was a good addition to have. I liked it.

Nos quedamos en un departamento, éramos 4 personas. La experiencia en general fue muy cómoda. Las camas eran confortables, las regaderas y baños también. Algo que me encantó fue que cada departamento tiene habilitada su cocina, que incluye microondas y una jarra eléctrica para calentar agua. Además, el lugar tiene lavandería en el piso de hasta arriba que puedes usar sin costo adicional. En los closets del departamento te incluyen un pequeño tendedero donde puedes colgar tu ropa. El desayuno también bastante decente y ven café. Lo único que no me gustó es que el desayuno abre hasta las 8 am. Dado que iba a una conferencia que iniciaba actividades a las 8 am, varios dias me quedé sin poder desayunar. Pero, en general, pareciera que la vida en Cadiz empieza tarde. A las 7 am no hay un alma en la calle.

We had a wonderful stay! The place is clean and in a central location (5 min walk to beach, and 10 min walk to the main cathedral). The breakfast is great with freshly squeezed orange juice daily, and many options of breakfast foods including hot meals. The apartment has a small kitchen with new appliances, plates, cups and other items which is super convenient. The staff are very friendly and professional, and the apartment was very clean. The positioning of the apartment helped reduce noise coming from the street at night. Overall we had a great stay and I would recommend Plaza de la Luz Cádiz to travellers visiting Cadiz.

Th location of the hotel/apartment a was excellent and within walkable distance of most of the main sights. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was in the building next door and was good, maybe more variety of cheeses and fruits would be good. The premium room we booked was standard size with a lovely private patio with table and 2 chairs, plus 2 extra chairs and 2 plants. There was a sea view, however with the caveat that it also overlooked a derelict large building and a car park below. This did not really impact our enjoyment of using the patio though. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend staying at Plaza de la Luz when in Cadiz !

Fantastic value. 2 bedroom apartment including breakfast buffet for £119pn. Very good location near Playa La Caleta and the two Castillo/forts... with plenty of nearby food options with cafes/bars spilling onto the sidewalk. Also a pleasant 10-15 min stroll to the heart of the old town.
