We purchased a king bed room and was given a queen. They stated they had no king available and did not offer reimbursement. Our thermostat would not work. I brought it up multiple times with the staff. They did send a maintenance person and he could not help. The staff stated many times they would have it fixed soon. No one showed in our two day stay.

Staff was very friendly. Hotel was very clean and the morning breakfast was fantastic.

Omar, the front desk staff member was ver friendly and helpful. He offered places to see in Thunder Bay and made restaurant suggestions. He made us feel very welcome. The hotel was nice, but the public areas and hallways could use a good cleaning. The room was clean, large and had a full size frig, which was nice. Linens were fairly plush. Bathroom was large.

We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott TownePlace Suites. The location was close to restaurants and hotels at the waterfront. The bed was comfortable and the room had more storage than I had ever seen, even in a suite. It had a full kitchen as well. The only downsides were the very poor quality of the pillows, and trying to avoid the big potholes driving into the parking lot.

Awesome place but sadly didn’t make my check in time as me ride broke down on the expressway outside of Thunder Bay

The staff were wonderful and breakfast was great. It was so convenient to have a full kitchen. I would have given 5 stars, but for some reason housekeeping forgot to make up our room one day.

Lucas helped me check in and was super friendly, let us know all the details of the hotel like when breakfast was and where everything was located and even gave us great recommendations for local restaurants in the area.

The hotel and our room were clean. The breakfast had a great selection of foods in the morning.

Staff were very friendly. A little expensive for what you are getting.

Everything was great, except for a one minor issue. The coffee pot in our room had no lid, but staff were very attentive to this issue. 24/7 coffee in the breakfast room was wonderful! Early breakfast at 6:30am. Breakfast was amazing! Rooms were very clean and very comfy beds. Hotel is super clean. A special shout out to Pritish who went above and beyond in guest services. He really made us feel very welcome. Overall this place deserves 5 stars in every category!! Would stay here most definitely if ever in Thunder Bay again!! By far the best hotel stay of our road trip.
