The location in the area of English Bay (similar to the hotel name) is superb. You can easily reach the tourist area by public transport or even walking. In terms of the building, it's more like a serviced apartment rather than a hotel, as you get complete facilities like a kitchen with a stove and manual dishwashing area, and a full-size refrigerator. Downside: the housekeeping happens every around 3 days only (not everyday like a common hotel). The bed looks clean, but we found a bug once, and my wife felt itchy on her skin. However, in Vancouver, nothing can beat the price with the premium location.

The life was easy for me and my family (an asian family). The price was reasonable. There are a lot of food shops nearby the hotel. A beautiful beach is within 2 minute walk. The room were okey as shown in the pictures.

Our stay at English Bay Hotel has been most awesome! Although wifi was a bit slow, it was well-compensated by our room which had everything we needed in our trip. I loved the free waffle and unlimited coffee, ❤ which gave us all the energy I needed to start my day perfectly in the beautiful BC. The hotel is close as well to English Bay Hotel, Brekka, Tims, Starbucks, and the bus stop...very convenient! I definitely recommend this hotel!

Friendly & helpful staff, room big, clean and kitchen inside, free hot drink at lobby area. But when I stayed there, they do lift maintenance, so when I bring my luggage down, the staff never help us. Please take of this thing. Easy to find food surrounding.
