료칸을 제대로 느낄수있는곳입니다. 아늑하고 조용한 료칸에서 스파를하며 여행의 피로를 풀기에 좋았습니다.

Whatever the rating system is in Japan, this resort would be a 5 star. This is a beautiful property that is decorated in traditional Japanese style. You are greeted with traditional Japanese tea and cookies. My children loved the complimentary ice cream in the lounge, of course. The rooms have tatami flooring but we had both regular beds and futons prepared for us on the floor. Our room had both a soaking cypress bath and an outdoor onsen. The property has a beautiful public onsen and private ones that you can book as well. A higher end Japanese hotel like this provides yukata for wearing around the property (less formal than a kimono) as well as sleeping clothes. In Japan, there are shoes for outside (your shoes), inside (slippers), inside-outside (garden shoes), and the bathroom (different slippers). We had both dinner and breakfast in our stay both kaiseki style and each meal was jaw-droppingly beautiful and delicious. When we had rice leftover from our dinner, our attendant prepared them as onigiri, which we took with us the next day. The staff were also very understanding of our limited Japanese and were very gracious in every way. This resort is a bit remote. They do provide a shuttle to Kameoka subway station, which is about a 30min subway ride to Kyoto station. We brought our teenaged children who enjoyed the food and the ambience but to get good value, you really need to appreciate onsens at a high end place like this.

This might have been the best room I stayed at on this trip to Japan. Very spacious, free minibar, nice balcony and of course the star of the show, the private onsen.. which was absolutely fantastic. The onsen was clean, at a hot temperature and felt genuinely healing. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast was equally as impressive, very well thought and put together dishes that explored a variety of unique tastes. We explored the grounds too and got some very nice pics as the gardens are very well maintained. Only negative really was the separated beds.

we had the most lovely stay. the property was immaculate and the staff were exceptionally kind. the meals were beautiful and delicious. we also enjoyed massages, which was the perfect way to cure our jet-lag!

A true oasis and absolutely perfect experience. Staff and services were all we could have hoped for. I could feel my stress melting away.

去年秋天來住兩晚後，留下美好的印象，今年春天又再來造訪，住了四晚。這是一個非常適合慢慢遊的高級溫泉旅館，也提供JR定時接駁，很適合不想開車，不想花太多時間跑景點、希望更多時間享受在旅館裡泡湯、享受美食與優雅環境的身心療癒之旅。

Cozy, quaint and very relaxing. Loved the private onsen. Beds were SO comfortable!! Lots of free amenities, treats and drinks.

Highlight of our trip! The hotel rooms are spacious, clean (although I did find a few strands of hair here and there but never felt the place was unclean), and the overall environment was private. Food was great, can confirm dinner and bfast are different every day. It was a really nice touch that the chef stops by. We only had breakfast and then hotel provided snacks (even their snacks were different each day), we felt full until dinner. Onsen was amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone. Staff were so friendly and attentive. If I had to nitpick, it would be how quiet the place is, the floors are a bit squeaky, so we can hear upstairs walking around at night. But otherwise it was very quiet. Again, we had a great time and would go back

This was the highlight of our Japan trip! The staff were lovely, and the shuttle bus was very convenient. The rooms were amazing - the bathroom kitted out with everything youd need and v tasty snacks in the room. The dinner amd breakfast were incredible experiences with v fresh and thoughtful meals. I would recommend this to anyone even for a 1 night stay - great massages at the spa too!

食事が大変美味しく、静かでゆったり休めて贅沢な時間を過ごせます。ルームウェアやパジャマなど楽で気持ちの良い素材の物が揃えてあるので、いつも荷物が少なくて済みます。隅々まで心配りが行き届いていて、とても満足感のある旅館です。

We loved our stay here. From getting to try traditional Japanese cuisine, to relaxing in the onsen, this stay was so peaceful and rejuvinating. The staff were incredible.

何よりお料理が素晴らしい。お部屋に付いている露天風呂の温度も適温で泉質も良い。静かで大人のゆったりした時間を過ごせる。隅々まで行き届いていてうるさくないサービスは他の施設では望めない程。経営者の本当の贅沢さを感じる。

Phenomenal property. I would highly recommend booking with meal service, it’s truly a world class japanese meal you’re treated to. We booked a room with a private onsen, which was great to have after a long day of sightseeing. The room was very large, with all modern amenities and many complimentary items to eat and drink. It’s not quite a traditional Ryokan but it’s close. Tatami mats, no shoes inside, a lovely Japanese garden we could see from our veranda. We stayed here for one day in the middle of our trip and it really helped us recharge after lots of walking and touristy stuff. Would definitely stay here again. Truly a beautiful property and a great place to take a break from the usual tourist attractions while in Japan.

何より食事の質の良さが他のホテルでは考えられない程です。団体や子供が居ないので、静かで贅沢な大人の時間を過ごせます。なかなか空いていないのが難点かも知れません。
