Absolutely delightful couple that run this lodge. Rooms large and spacious and view to die for. Gardens were beautifully maintained as well Great breakfast too. They helped us with local attractions and restaurants Thank you, we had a wonderful time.

The owners are the only staff there. They don’t clean the room during the stay, an open dog is wandering all around and nobody cared to fasten the dog belt. It does have a pool but u will have to gain the owner’s permission in order to use it, hence it’s more like a decoration. 3 rooms share a lobby which is the only access to a fridge. Strongly don’t suggest any Asian fellows to stay.

Gorgeous views and sunset each night with a cozy room and knock your socks of shower! Best one we’ve encountered in New Zealand. Jets all over to relax your tired and sore body after exploring all day. Collin and Jan were delightful and I highly recommend this place! We’d love to come back here

Gorgeous view over the lake. Located about 15-20 minutes from Cambridge and 20 minutes from Hobbiton, this was a nice small B&B for our visit. The owner is very friendly and the breakfast was very good.

Nette Gastgeber und sehr große im englischen Stil eingerichtete Zimmer. Sehr schöner Ausblick über Lake Karapiro. Die Fenster zur Seeseite sollte man aber nachts schließen weil unten der Highway vorbei führt. Zur Gartenseite ist es dagegen sehr ruhig.

Fabulous hospitality! Love Collin and Jane. Room is gorgeous and huge. Incredible view. One of best lodges we’ve ever stayed in, and we have traveled all over the world!

Lovely property with amazing views. Great hosts. Perfect breakfast. Close to lots of activities eg Waitomo, Tirau, Cambridge, Hobbiton but you need a vehicle.

This property is located at the top of a hill giving amazing views of Lake Karapiro. The room theme was really nice and the owners were lovely!

Its a beautiful place to stay, we recommend it very much.

Very pleasant stay with friendly hosts. Perhaps it would have been nice to have a cool room on arrival on the hottest day this year, the room had not had the air conditioner turned on, so it did take a while to cool. Blankets were provided to replace the very fluffy duvet which is too heavy for summer, perhaps a lighter summer weight duvet would be better? Over all a very comfortable stay and highly recommended.
