This amazing place has everything for a stay in a unique building in peaceful and quiet surroundings. The old rectory house is a lovely building with so much character. It is located in a quiet area and within walking distance to Arrow Valley country park which has some lovely walks, scenery and wildlife. Although the reception isn’t always staffed I had received clear instructions on access to the building, my room and an overview of the facilities. On arrival there was a member of staff present who was helpful, friendly and showed me the facilities. It was a quiet location at night with a comfortable bed and large room. There is plenty of cereal and fruit available for breakfast.I would recommend this venue for somewhere to stay which has a lot to offer for a reasonable price

What a beautiful little gem of a hotel, the place was stunning, the staff were lovely. There was food available too, complimentary breakfasts and hot drinks. I can’t compliment this enough. Thank you for a lovely stay

Great for a one night stay or even more, only criticism the intermittent WiFi

If you're staying here, prepare not to sleep in The Laurel room. The creaking from the ceiling above was so loud, we didn't sleep until the people went to bed, which was 1:30am! Also, the Laurel room is right by the communal door, and as it's a latch lock, is clunky and loud when people go through. We ending up getting a refund for the second night we were so tired. The bed is also extremely firm, even with a mattress topper they put on top. Shower also was a dribble and mould around the shower screen. Besides this, the person I was communicating with via message agreed to the refund which was good. Room itself was lovely in decor, free fruit and cereal was also good. If we stayed again we would make sure to get a room that was upstairs!

old listed historical building, Brilliantly interior design. outside wedding and events area is picturesque and beautiful. just off main road so still feel safe as its not in the middle of nowhere. we had a lovely stay in the Jasmine room, which has a boiler inside the room making it lovely and cosy! with a lovely sash window letting the sunshine in the morning. bathroom standard and clean. bed was a sturdy hard mattress. clean sheets and well kept room. thank you Lisa we will be back to stay in your property the next time we are visiting. all the best. The room and property were fantastic but our room was directly above the bar that played loud music until 23:30 which was completely unacceptable.

This is not a hotel so do not expect any bar or restaurant to be available, it is a more personal service and better for it. We prebooked a continental breakfast which was very nice but fresh baked pastries would have been preferable to the prepacked versions. There is a lot of care and love put into this place and the staff were very welcoming and helpful to make sure we had the best experience. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated and extra milk, pillows etc happily provided. Beware the uneven, creaking floors, but that goes with older houses and his one has plenty of character. Lots of eateries close by and pleasant gardens to sit outside. A lovely stay.

Fantastic boutique hotel wind wonderful service

Nice cosy place with comfortable room. Needs a communal area for people staying as a group to be able to sit together. Internet was keep dropping also which was a pain as I needed to work also and found it frustrating.

Nice and peaceful, comfy bed, private bathroom, new coffee machine made a good cup. Car parking handy and very helpful and pleasant staff. The Hart served us a good meal after a long day. Thank you. Mark and Sue.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Made more so by Lisa the manager who took so much pride in the place couldn't be more helpful and was really friendly. Deffinatly will stay again when in the area.

Absolutely incredible overall. Such a beautiful and remote location, close proximity to shops & things to do. We even received a breakfast basket. The lady who showed us in was so helpful and kind. We had such an amazing stay & will definitely be booking again.
