A wonderful, caring and accessible staff, and the showers . The room needed a deep clean.

This was the sweetest little hotel in the most perfect location. The contactless model was honestly very efficient and seamless. It’s basically like having your own tiny studio apartment in the East Village.

Lighting in the stairways is inadequate. The stairs are narrow and need good lighting to make them safe

No me gustó esta idea de hotel, sin recepción. Habíamos solicitado un early check-in un día antes, fue aceptado, pero antes de llegar no me habían mandado la clave/código para acceder al hotel y a mi habitación, tuve que llamar por teléfono. Tampoco le agradó la forma en que te piden hacer el check out, no puedes excederte ni un minuto de la hora, de otra forma te hacen cargos a tu tarjeta. El hotel no tiene elevador, lo cual representa una molestia para mi pues tuve que cargar mi maleta 4 pisos, la opción era pagar un cargo para que nos dieran una en pisos inferiores, tampoco era una opción buena para mu. La habitación estaba limpia.

Very helpful phone connection though nobody was there in person. Clean comfortable very adequate room.

Apartment building style hotel in the East Village close to L and R/W.

The hotel was able to meet my request for a lower-floor room. The amenities in the room were fine, and the surroundings were relatively quiet. I had some trouble with the mini fridge. First I couldn’t get the door to stay shut, then after I got that worked out, it froze my foods. I did have trouble with the door lock. It is a keypad and I always had to enter the code several times before I could get the door to open. That was frustrating.

Our daughter is at NYU so it was a great location. It is a little more work with no lobby and being able to leave your bags but we paid a great price.

The toilet has problems flushing properly sometimes i had to unclog toilet a couple times. Also one of the towels had a stain on them

There is no person on staff at the property and so when our room lock was broken we were locked out in the hallway for over an hour late at night. Other than that it’s a decent little inexpensive nyc stay.

Lugar muito barulhento, banheiro muito pequeno, cortina do banheiro não bloqueava a água, todos os banhos deixavam o banheiro encharcado, e não havia como enxugar. Meu marido escorregou, quase se machucou. A localização é boa, pensando em NY, o custo foi mais acessível.

Location was ideal.

I was hesitant about staying at a "no staff" hotel but it turned out there were minimal problems. I booked the early option ($30) but had to call to get the necessary codes for my Noon early checkin. Other than that, there were no problems. The staff (on the phone) were very nice. I entered the hotel off of 9th Street and it seemed a little questionable on the outside, but inside, everything was fine. My room on the 3rd floor was one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in during my many travels. There was a kitchenette with stove top, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and dishes. The bed was very comfortable. I will stay here again. The only other issue is that they cannot store luggage - you have to take it to the Chelsea Pines Hotel, which is further away.

I have stayed at EVH before and am always very pleased. The rooms and hotel are very clean and very well stocked in kitchen and bath. For me, the location is perfect

This is a no-contact hotel, so no reception desk, keys, etc. The room was clean, modern, and had good air conditioning. My room was on the 4th floor (no elevator), so I got my steps in. The primary downside was noise from 1st Avenue, though the property provided earplugs. I would consider staying there again.

Small but well-designed and cute. The kitchenette was hugely useful. Location is fantastic — you could dine at cool places for two weeks within a two-block radius! There is some New York- style street noise, but with the blackout shades down and the A/C running, we slept like babies in the very comfortable bed.

Loved this property. Housekeeping excellent. Great communication before hand about check in as it does not have a front desk. Easy to leave luggage on arrival and departure. Staff at sister hotel super lovely. We chose this property for the kitchen. Was easy to make our own meals.
