Night's are very noisy due that many people rent this place for the hour. The smell of cigarettes blows through the heaters, specially in the rooms located on first floor. The rooms look clean but beware, I've had to clean around the bed area as people leave wrappers and personal garbage on the floor. Something I never complained about because I clean anyway. In one occasion I got a room on the 2nd floor infested with bed bugs, which the clerks had been aware of and booked regardless. I was switched to another room, but the mere thought of ending up in another infested room kept me from sleeping that night. Now, I know that in other hotels, not motels, well trained clerks have the courtesy to call and ask if housekeeping is needed. However, the untrained clerk/manager at this hourly motel treated me with complete disrespect. Implying I was a dirty, lazy, mentally ill person for bringing up how unnecessary the banging on the door and calling my room demanding to let the cleaners in was. Not to mention the jump scare I got. I suppose the "do not disturb" sign on my door and request service as need it, wasn't enough. Rendering said sign, useless. BUT if you don't mind being belittled over housekeeping, garbage, bed bugs, smoke, condom wrappers then this is a piece of heaven. Perks are the fast food places on both sides of the street, the mall nearby, and bus routes. Spend your money in a non hourly rate motel and go to Canada's Best Value inn. Their prices are better anyway.
