We arrived and the guy on reception said our room type was unavailable. We already paid €20 and he wanted another €15 to upgrade to the deluxe room. We told him we were not happy with this and wanted a refund. He tried to tell us all the other hotels were booked out, and we would be very lucky to pay him almost twice the fee we already paid & other assorted lies. I imagine he's done this to many other travelers in the past. He will get his justice with karma. After a lots of messing and his story changing several times. Whatever happened, he would not give us our room or a refund, that was his policy. Avoid these thieves at all costs! Also, the hotel was not as advertised. No elevator from street. Very dangerous flight of stairs, difficult to climb. Small, smelly, horribly staff. Don't do it! Book somewhere else.

The hotel stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful, the location was very convenient for getting around and many activities. If we were to travel to Istanbul again, we would definitely stay there again! 😘❤️ Anonymous guest Customer rating:
