전체 평가 및 리뷰 Motel 6 Newport, RI

Check in: I paid cash at check-in, but did not receive the receipt because the printer was broken. They asked me to come back later. The next day, the printer was still not fixed. I did not receive any paper documents at all. During the stay, some guests, four of them, were fighting each other very loudly from 12 midnight to 1 thirty, but no hotel employees did anything. It was so bad that I almost called the police. The check-out time was 11 am, but the key became unusable to use at 10 am.

My room was cancelled apparently before I arrived. So I was stranded. Nobody contacted me. I will never go there again. And I will not pay.

We went there check in around 5pm and the room smell a heavy smoke like a whole group of people smoke over there even we reserved smoke free room and that is the last room they have and we can’t get another one, we try to open the window and run the AC to help out with the smell but it’s not helping at all. No blanket inside the room and we ask the front desk , he said it will take time because the house keeper it’s not there and he need to wash and dry it. We keep calling and asked about the blanket every hour , on the 3rd hour I went downstairs and asked for the blanket and he gave me a thin brown blanket instead the thick one they put in the picture. While I’m in the front desk I saw him open the Linen room next to him I spotted an air refresher spray and I begged him to spray my room with it for a minute, or I can borrow it and give it back after I finish but he said NO because it’s not his job and he need to ask the room cleaner lady 1st. What a disaster and we can’t sleep at all that night. Just let you know this hotel have no lift only stairs. Get ready if you have huge luggage. Overall this is the worst experience I’ve ever had in my entire existence with staying in the motel/hotel periods.

The door could not be opened with the electronic key, only by a physical master key, so guests were not free to come and go, which was bizarre. This happened because a fuse blew earlier in the day, but that’s still unacceptable—rewire the hotel so that doesn’t happen, and have an electrician on call. The tub water ran very brown. The room was generally clean, maybe some hairs left around, but trash taken out and not filthy. There’s enough parking. There was one person working and a lot of people checking in and the key issue and various other issues so the service was slow.

The hallway and staircase smells so bad. I had a cockroach in my bathroom, toilet was cloged.

The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Also the surrounding area was very easy to access and in a short walking distance. The room was small, but clean. Definitely worth and honestly better that what I paid for.

Bedbugs

Staff was rude. Room was missing a microwave. No attempt to get one from an empty room. The microwave in the common area was filthy with food in it. The website for this location listed smoking rooms that were available. The staff stated that she didn't have access to the site to look at it I filed a complaint with corporate of Motel 6. Worst hotel experience in my life.

the room was very smelly. we could not open the curtains or the window because the view was terrible, garbage, junk cars, two mobile home trailers that looked like they been there for years. full trash bins an old hotel sink just lying there under a bush..there was a homeless guy outside our window charging his cell phone. they had no toilet paper, not enough pillows. the pillows were flat and empty. the hotel and halls smelled like smoke, dirty feet and semen. this place seemed more like a crack spot or homeless shelter. the back door was open halkf the time, the inside door was broken and it slammed into the wall everytime it was opened. staff was mostly unfriendly like they just didnt care. we felt verey unsafe here. I have stayed at motel 6 before in various locations, this place was the worst hotel i ever stayed in. i fell very mislead and disappointed.

The room was very dirty. The floors particularly. There were dirty nail clippings lying around, dust bunnies and black marks. They were sticky. The walls in the bathroom were dirty and sticky too. The water came out yellow/rust color in the tub. When I asked that it be taken care of, I was told that there was no one on staff to clean (it was Xmas day). I then asked for a change of room. The person attending the reception got very upset and antagonistic and asked us to leave immediatly. We packed up and got ready to leave. She then refused to give us our money back (I had paid cash) saying there was no proof I had paid (another person had checked us in). It devolved into a horrible scene. Finally, the person who had checked us in showed up and gave us our money back. I will never set foot in a Motel 6 again. That place was filthy. That particular person at the desk was violent, prejudiced and abusive.

Ive been to many hotels and motels, but never have I had such a horrible experience as this. The staff were rude, ans Dour rooms werent prepared in advance. It was requested that the rooms would be next to each other because it was for a family trip, and they gave us two rooms extremely far from each other. When you walk in the motel you immediately smell Marijuana. Rooms are fine, but had a bad experience with one of the staff members. They were very uncooperative, and unwilling to work with us. It was extremely noisy with families arguing, and was unable to sleep well. Overall do NOT reccomend.

Comfortable stay

This place is a slum. It smells like urine, the rooms were filthy. I had to go to Walmart to buy towels because there were none in the bathroom, I went to the front desk to ask for towels and was greeted with an attitude and was told they didn’t have any towels at the moment, some would be brought to my room when they had them. I’ve stayed here 4 times each time worse than the last.

I couldn't sleep on the moldy mattress and Expedia's inability to get me a full refund.
