Friendly staff but old and stinky bathroom, shower and common areas.

The experience was ok. The problem is that the hotel has two buildings and the name of the building for our booking was a different than the one that appears to be here. Our room was in Hotek Oenha de Franca Mar. It was nice, but a bit more of guide on this would be good.

Little oasis of a hotel in among the other bigger hotels, beautiful gardens and very peaceful. It could do with a bar / pool bar at the top pool though.

Établissement typique des Quinta du pays. Très fleuries, bel environnement. Personnel sympathique. Petit dejeuner copieux. Restaurant de Très bonne qualité. Attention ⚠️ évacuation de notre douche obstrué. Pas pratiques de devoir récupérer sa serviette de plage a l Établissement plus bas.

Great location. , a little shabby in places rooms spacious . Breakfast offerings pretty extensive. Lunch ok had a few problems with wrong order being brought then the item I had ordered arrived raw . Pool staff super organised and very helpful. Restaurant staff pleasant. Reception mainly good , although on last morning we had ordered a breakfast and it wasn’t delivered the reception said there was nothing he could do about that in a very brusque manner rude ! No customer care there . Needs addressing 20/7

Bella struttura in una casa colonica portoghese. Sul mare con 2 piscine e accesso all'oceano. Buono il cibo servito a colazione e a cena con ricette tipiche portoghesi. Pulizia e staff cordiale e disponibile a soddisfare le esigenze del cliente. Posizione eccellente in centro città. Hotel da consigliare per un viaggio a Madeira .

The hotel is located within easy walking distance of cable cars, lots of great restaurants and access to the ocean. The property has lots of character, a great free breakfast and two pools with friendly and helpful staff. there is free parking as well which is a huge benefit as street parking is very limited.

Tranquilidad en un hotel tipo colonial a 20 minutos a pie del centro por la avenida marítima.

C'était parfait, le confort, la situation, le calme, le petit déjeuner ect.. Nous sommes même retourné pour deux nuits supplémentaires car mésaventure dans un autre hôtel par chance ils avaient de la place. L'attention du personnel pour l'anniversaire de mon conjoint était inattendu et plus qu'appreciable. Je recommande à 100% !

Breakfast, pool, and atmosphere were AMAZING. Only complaint were the pillows, which sounds silly but they were horrendous.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Der Service war super. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral und das Zentrum von Funchal gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber die Lage am Meer ist super.

Eu estava preocupado com esse hotel por causa de algumas avaliações negativas que eu havia lido, mas me surpreendi muito positivamente. O hotel é antigo, mas muito bonito, limpo, agradável e bem localizado. Todos os funcionários foram extremamente gentis. O café da manhã é ótimo, e em um pátio muito agradável. O jardim é muito bonito e bem cuidado. Os quartos são antigos, mas amplos, limpos e com camas muito confortáveis. O único ponto negativo foi o ar condicionado do quarto, que parecia estar só ventilando. Mas fora isso, nossa estadia foi perfeita.
