This is very nice hotel, with all your basic amenities included. Safe parking lot, hot showers and filling breakfast. The stuff is very attentive - like holding your key ready as soon as you enter a lobby, immediately bringing you requested things, smiling and calling you by name. It’s located right in the middle of SJ, close to the center or shopping mall, national stadium and US embassy.

The best to stay and there’s a guard so everyone is safe

This hotel is fantastic! The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, especially George. He gave us very informative suggestions on what to do for our next trip. The breakfast is excellent, featuring high-quality options and a great variety that starts the day perfectly. Moreover, the entire hotel is spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. A truly outstanding experience—highly recommend!

Stayed here one night when I had to visit the US Embassy (it’s within walking distance which is great because traffic and parking in that area is terrible). The man working the front desk was amazing - gave us a great dinner recommendation and went above and beyond to help me print some forms I needed for the appt! Would stay again.

Isla Verde is a gem of a hotel located 20 minutes walking distance from the stadium ! Rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and spacious for two travelers. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The Chinese restaurant adjacent to the hotel is authentic and highly recommend .

Estadia de acordo com valor, café da manhã bom, nosso quarto estava em um lado que vinha muito barulho da rua, foi difícil dormir.

I enjoy staying here as they have thoughtfully arranged the room for maximum comfort, paying attention to the smallest details. Also, I thoroughly enjoy the food presentation at their Chinese restaurant.

The mattress was great!

The front desk staff was excellent and very helpful it was my first time out if the country and they made my hotel experience pleasant. Shout out to Harol and Jorge 💯

Our return stay check-in was flawless. The receptionist had our reservations read when we walked in. She was very warm and friendly asking about our visit to Costa Rica and sharing advise for our next visit.

The hotel and staff were wonderful, food was great. The only problem was that the water temperature fluctuated so much that it was almost impossible to take a shower. The water was way too hot. Maybe temperature limiting shower fixtures would help.
