Friendly staff and a great, convenient location. Under cover parking for a fee, made of very easy for us to come and go each day.

Room was fantastic. 2 bedroom suite.

Good location with access to the boardwalk but a bit of an uphill trek so be prepared! Room was super spacious ans bed was very comfortable. Only comment is that the carpet could be replaced but the room was great and staff were amazing!

Great spot close to downtown. Paid parking next to the hotel.

Friendly staff and good complimentary breakfast were pros, ad was the central location. The cons were the property and room is in need of repair/renovating. Our carpet in our room was filthy and the furniture/couch was worn and shabby. Our kitchen needed more utensils, cutlery etc. Staff was very responsive when we asked for a couple of things we needed.

From the moment we arrived, I was greeted with a smile and a welcome. Everything has been perfect.

Breakfast could have had more variety. Scrambled Eggs, Potatoes and Sausage everyday was too boring.

Front desk staff were friendly, helpful, kind, and welcoming. When I mentioned that my wife and I were celebrating our 40th anniversary during our 8 day stay at the Homewood Suites in Halifax several staff went the distance to make our stay extra special and memorable. Navreet in particular took the time to make a romantic contribution with our room and decor. We will fondly remember the team’s thoughtfulness. The daily buffet breakfast offers many excellent options. The hotel offers a prime location in the heart of the city or easy access for travelling to some of the hot spots like Peggy’s Cove or Lunenburg - both photographers’ dream locations. We enjoyed our time in and around the wonderful city of Halifax and will sty at the Homewood Suites next time.

Just okay

We liked the size of our room and the set up. We liked the breakfast and how nice and efficient the staff were who were working there. The variety of food options were excellent, there’s something for everyone. The coffee was great!! What would have made the room so much better, would have been a comfortable chair to sit on to watch tv, or read. The couch that was in the room was very uncomfortable and noisy. The pillows for the bed were awful, they were old and had seen better days, they desperately need to be replaced. Other than that, it was a great hotel. I would recommend this hotel for sure. Thank you for a great stay.

We loved the Breakfast buffet! Staff were really nice and understanding with us cause English isn’t our first language. The hotel is nicely placed, too bad there are many new buildings around though, cause we were not able to see the citadel from our window (but may be you can see it and the clock from upper level)

A great cozy stay. We all enjoyed the pool.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Everything is well maintained. The breakfasts were excellent. Staff was very helpful and courteous. The only thing I would have liked that wasn't there was a restaurant/cafe/bar or small store.
