Amazing stay!

Wonderful welcoming staff including their laid back gray cat Basil. Beware of stairs to enter the building but there is a small lift to get up to rooms. Rooms are small, no AC. Windows do open for a nice breeze. Breakfast was very good. I especially enjoyed the croissants. Lovely area.

The room was small, the shower leaked onto the floor and it was very hot in the room with no fan or AC.

Convenient location. Hotel is visibly on the older side, elevator was broken on the last night of our stay. However, big thanks to front desk for helping us with our luggage. Not sure how to feel about the whole dropping off room key system. They require you to leave and then ask for your room key back at the reception when leaving/returning to the hotel.

Mooie plek om na een voorstelling in DeLaMar te overnachten. Lekker ontbijtbuffet en ook aardige medewerkers, die veelal ook Nederlands spreken. Waar heb je dat nog in Amsterdam. En midden in centrum Amsterdam genieten van de ochtendzon met een bakkie koffie. Super!

Easy walking distance to all the museums and shops. A nice, clean, quiet place to stay

This is a very pleasant, small, older hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. It is on a pretty street, close to Vondelpark, the Van Gogh museum, and the Rijksmuseum, and easily walkable to central Amsterdam. I also appreciated that it was very quiet. Like many older European hotels, the room was quite small for two people -- the two twin beds were pushed together like a king-size bed, and there was very little space for unpacking. So that is a thing to keep in mind, but the hotel itself was lovely, and I was glad we stayed there.

Muito bem localizado e excelente café da manhã. Só sentimos calor no quarto. O ventilador de chão não foi suficiente nos dias mais quentes.

This is a charming hotel located in a lovely neighborhood within easy walking distance of the city center. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small but adequate, and quiet for the most part, with window overlooking a small courtyard. The lounge/breakfast area and courtyard were inviting, and though we did not purchase the breakfast, it looked and smelled good! Definitely recommend this hotel!

Owl hotel’s staff is excellent, they were very helpful when we had asked questions. The hotel is very charming, very clean. Breakfast was always delicious. I would recommend anyone to stay there

Staff very friendly and helpful. Gave easy understandable directions to ride bus to airport. We really enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor patio as well as the great breakfast. Older Hotel but quaint and in a good location to walk to museums, park and restaurants.

Good location for a short visit

The hotel is in a great location for exploring the museum quarter, the staff are courteous and helpful, the room/bathroom was very clean and the breakfast room had a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere.

Location was good for me (just outside the main area, walking distance, no noise), staff are generally friendly. I did not like requirement to leave keycard with Reception as they give the wrong card back occasionally - this is very dangerous! Also, there was only one abailable power outlet which is not good. The room was very basic - no 'frills'. It was cheaper than anything else decent that I could find at the time. I would stay again if it is still cheaper otherwise I would go to a better hotel.
