Wonderful property to enjoy quiet and peaceful surroundings

J'ai aimé être dans un endroit tout près de la nature. Très apaisant.

The location is lovely (Saint Bernard Island). The rooms are relatively clean, but old (and not renovated). Especially the bathrooms need better maintenance and in some cases complete renovation. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are lots of mosquitos in rooms at night that the hotel needs to do something about it.

There was a power outage when we were checking in. We spent the night with no power in the room. I was surprised the emergency generator didnt power anything in our room.

Wonderful environment! The quiet at night was incredible. The apple orchard and restaurant La Traite, makes you feel you are having dinner at a vineyard!! The refuge on the island is amazing, the birds, plants and water bodies.!! Good for a great break from the hustle and bustle!!

We booked a room with lake view and private bathroom ( and paid for it ) when we got there they didn’t have it. Since it was 9:00 pm and we were tired , we took a shower on a shared bathroom and left the next day . Horrible experience. And on of everything the two first room keys that was give to us , the room was already occupied !!! Twice the same “mistake “, !!!!! Very disorganized !

Ça fait 5 nuits que je suis ici dans la même chambre et j’ai du prendre une autre chambre puisque celle que j’avais à été réservé par quelqu’un d’autre et j’ai demandé hier que l’on prépare l’autre chambre avant l’heure qu’on est censé prendre possession 15h et la personne à la réception la fin de semaine n’a pas suivi ma demande qui a été acceptée hier et me fait attendre jusqu’à 15j et pas vraiment de sourire. Elle devrait pas être à la réception à mon avis mais plutôt à laver les toilettes

J’ai été surpris qu’il n’y est pas de radio et/ou de télévision mais cela a été parfait pour récupérer et l’endroit est tout simplement magnifique ainsi que tout le personnel incluant le directeur général de l’établissement. La seule chose est que 5 étoiles n’est pas suffisant pour cet établissement il en vaut plus que 5. Je le recommande. Martin L.

I booked this hotel a week in advance, paid in full, and received both a confirmation email and receipt. When I arrived around 10 PM, I was informed that no room was available despite my confirmed reservation. I showed my confirmation documents, but neither the hotel nor the booking platform could provide an alternative accommodation that night. As a result, I had to drive for hours late at night searching for somewhere to stay and eventually found a motel in another city around 2 AM. This caused considerable stress, additional travel expenses, and significantly disrupted the start of my holiday. Although partial compensation was later offered, it did not adequately reflect the inconvenience and disruption caused by the failed reservation.

The hotel is situated in a scenic area with old world charm as well as old world facilities. Stayed here while playing in a poker tournament at Playground casino. It served its purpose but would be better for a couple on a romantic getaway that had low expectations. Perfectly functional, good breakfast, good WiFi. Tiny rooms. I’ll stay here again for the next tournament.

The staff are friendly and the room is very simple. The bathrooms and shower are outside the rooms. Overall, the price is everything, it's very worthwhile.

Room clean, double bed very comfortable. The room did include 'bathroom' with sink and toilet, but unfortunately the shower had been 'decommissioned'. Breakfast was very nice although I got tired of wearing the bracelet all week. No AC but the spring weather was nice and cooling. Overall, it is a bit 'spartan' but I'd stay there again and grounds were beautiful to walk around on.

If you don’t care about cleanliness decent hotel and you only want to enjoy the scenery this place might be for you. But if you are expecting to get good service, clean rooms, clean bedsheets, clean, washrooms, and cordial staff and most of all I restful sleep this place is not for you. I went to play a tournament at the playground and stayed at this place and I don’t think I will do that ever again. The walls are paperthin. You can hear other people you can hear people walking in halls. They were people speaking loudly in laughing in the halls at 6 AM in the morning. To top it all off I made it down at 9:05 to have breakfast and they would not let me have food because breakfast toast at 9 AM. The food was still in the buffet. I’m not sure if it is because I didn’t speak French, but I sensed quite a bit of attitude from the staff in the dining room. I would not recommend this place. Don’t waste your money on it.
