The hotel is what you pay for. Just a room to sleep in at night after a day of exploring. The service is terrible, took 2 days to get the room cleaned for a start. The restaurant sells decent food, that same menu is literally at most other places in the area. Restaurant staff have no drive whatsoever. The service there was the worst. I even complained to the manager as we were at the pool and they have a bell you can ring and a waiter will come through. We ordered and the guy never brought our drinks. I went and asked him what happened to them and like they all do, he walked away. Then when I asked loudly to speak to the manager he told me that he was too busy--there were about 4 tables with guests. The manager then came and our stuff was brought to us. The next day same horrible service. The WiFi is also extremely poor. The key deposit and 1500bht on arrival. And there is a hidden cost for the pool at the end of your stay although we weren't asked to pay it.
