This was way more beautiful than we expected! Absolutely loved waking up to the Seaview with whale jumping out and having breakfast at the same time! The service was amazing and accommodated all the request we had! I would recommend anyone to stay here! We also felt safe and easy to walk to the coast for a closer view of whales!

Great location. Can watch whale from the balcony. Great value for the money and very welcoming staff. One suggestion would be add a heater during cold season.

Receiption was very nice and accommodating, as we were late arriving and notified the facility ahead of time. The entire house was beautiful and clean. The location is just breath-taking incredible. It is peacefully quiet and right where you would want to be to see the wild life in the ocean. Beautiful gardens all around, cliffs to the ocean and views were incredible. The room was on the second floor with balcony which opened completely to the ocean view. Large bathroom and king size bed with incredible warmer which was needed as you want to open the doors to the ocean but stay comfortably warm in bed. Definitely the spot to watch Right whales during the season.

Our hosts are very friendly and helpful. The location of the property is amazing and impressive.

We booked the deluxe apartment with our own kitchen & braai on the deck. This was great for us as we like to mix eating out with preparing a meal for ourselves. Breakfast time was particularly great as we could relax at our own pace and watch the whales, very close to the shoreline, while enjoying our cup of tea. A great find and would recommend this small but very comfortable guesthouse. Pictures shown taken from the balcony.

The second we walked in we saw whales from the upper floor terrace. Monica was an absolute superstar and made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Fresh flowers in the room, spotless linen and bathroom. A real little Gem. The breakfast was delicious!

What a beautiful place! We had a really, really great time at the Kleinzee. My wife and I had a slight communication issue with the B&B at first because the phone numbers listed on expedia and on Google don't work. Once that was sorted (big thanks to expedia customer service!) everything else was brilliant. The views will be some of the best you'll see in Western Cape, and the staff and on-site manager are some of the kindest people we met on our trip. They gave us great recommendations and served us a wonderful breakfast. The owner's flexibility with us was also much appreciated. Overall, a really wonderful stay and we'd love to stay again in the future!

What a view! We literally saw hundreds of dolphins while eating breakfast at the balcony.

I was unhappy because nowhere in the details of the property did it state we had to check in by 5 o’clock. My wife and I drove three hours to get to the property only to find it locked up with no phone number to call and no way to contact the manager. The phone number listed through Expedia is the incorrect number. We lost our first day of stay at this location and no effort was made by the owner to rectify it. Also, the owner is not on site. It wasn’t until we read the fine print that it’s stated you must notify the owner if you’re going to be later than five pm. Even if we had found that information the phone number listed was incorrect. If it wasn’t for David at the Saxon Lodge down the road we would’ve been really in trouble. He put us up at his outstanding accommodations.

Die Unterkunft besticht vor allem durch ihre sehr gute Lage direkt am Meer mit einem fantastischen Ausblick. Wer aber Privatsphäre erwartet wird hier enttäuscht. Gemeinsame Balkone, Zimmer die direkt an den Frühstücksraum gehen und eine zu übertrieben „hilfsbereite“ Fachkraft haben unseren Aufenthalt eher zweckmäßig gestaltet. Nichtsdestotrotz war das beobachten der Wale ein Erlebnis, würden aber im Zweifel beim nächsten Besuch eine Alternative suchen.

A Perl in Gansbay / De Kelder. The view to the Ocean watching the whales, dolphins and seals from the rooms balcony was a wonderful experience. Breakfast outside in the totally quiet environment just listening to the ocean was a real pleasure. Everything was well maintained and the luxury room we booked gave us a lot space. Ernisha, our host, took care of every single wish we had. Thank you Ernisha for the beautiful days.

We saw whales from the balcony almost every day! monika looked after us so well shs was so friendly and the room was beautiful. A very quiet but beautiful place to relax for a few days.
