Hospitality is not a valued virtue at the Dean. We specifically booked it as parking was accessible, only it was not by the hotel. We paid for the parking, as we were not told it was deductable A folder happily tells you that umbrellas are in the reception as you would expect in a four star hotel, but they are not. None of these issues would be issues if they were explained properly, or even tried solved by the staff, as an act of hospitality.

Grey spot close to all the stuff but for enough away. Be quiet

Really lovely hotel with fantastic rooftop restaurant and bar. The rooms are well decorated and the pool and sauna were excellent. We knew that the hotel was on a road of nightclubs but we honestly could not tell when in the hotel. Our townhouse room was not reached by road noise at all, but the constructions site right next door was noisy and a bit of a shame. Also the cleaning carts parked outside our room (321) was a bit of a disturbance and nuisance. Otherwise really lovely.

The noise levels in this hotel from the neighbouring night club are something I’ve never experienced before. It felt like I was in the club and it went on until the early hours. The pool looks scrubby and nothing like in the pictures. The room was dirty and everything feels very cheap. One positive - the bed was comfortable !

Hotel is in a great area, very lively. Friendly staff overall great experience but if staying over a weekend could get very loud at night. David the reception was wonderful.

We had an amazing stay at The Dean Dublin. The staff were brilliant and go above and beyond. The location is excellent, in the heart of Dublin for shopping, dining and nightlife.Sophies rooftop bar is a great place to relax and hangout. We will definately stay here again

Music blasting from club next door to small hours. Impossible to sleep even with earphones or ear plugs in

Dave on reception was so welcoming and friendly. Beautiful hotel with a down to earth atmosphere thanks to the friendly but not over the top staff. We were celebrating birthdays and we got an upgrade to a beautiful suite! Second time we’ve stayed here and it’s now our top choice when visiting Dublin. Lovely area too!

Great Hotel and service - try to specify “quiet room” especially when busy weekend/bank holiday or peak season - neighbours are a big nightclub…. When an issue arose it was sorted with professional courtesy and respect - super views

Loved the vibe of this place! Really stylishly decorated and the staff was top notch. Kind and helpful. My first room overlooked the most popular nightclub in Dublin which made sleeping really tough - but the staff moved my room for the second night and all was great! I will say you are starting to see signs of wear and tear on the decor and furniture and the room could have been a littttttlle cleaner - but overall this place was awesome!

We were warned the area can get a little noisy with night life and expected some street noise or maybe background music. The hotel felt like it was in a night club, the music was so so loud and we could not escape it, it stopped around 3:30am, really not how it was described to us.

Un hotel agréable et bien situé. Attention car le bâtiment principal est immédiatement au dessus de gros night-club. Le bâtiment annexe est plus calme même si les chambres sont petites.

Beautiful hipster hotel close to the heart of Dublin. Easy to walk to all the main sites plus tram stop nearby. Very nice furnishings and deco. The vinyl player in the room is a nice touch. Pre-order breakfast the day before for 15€ and you'll get a good deal on the a la carte menue items (plus coffee and juice). Pool is heated, which was nice on a cold winter morning.

Unique hotel… loved it but a we walked a lot, a it was slightly off the beaten path

Incredible hotel! We loved our stay and would love to come again. We loved the decor and vibe of the hotel. Super trendy and feels very special. If you stay the sauna and pool are a must as well as checking out the restaurant. We were a little unimpressed with our checking in experience however. We had to wait 30 minutes for our room to be ready. Would have been fine if we were offered a drink or made to feel like appreciated guests, but unfortunately, we were left whilst we watched 6 other guests check in without having to wait like us! Some more care and hosting here would have matched the great vibes of the hotel and seems very important to correct as you’re paying for an expensive boutique hotel.
