Clean and quiet. Beds are comfortable. Various food options near the hotel. On-site parking is easy. Quick access to nice beaches including Steamer's lane, Pleasure point, and Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Hot tub is hard to be a big advantage, too small and no view. Overall, deserves a high score.

Great staff, continental breakfast, nice renovated room, spacious - the only thing that we feel needs addressing are the very dusty window screen and the floor was dusty or unclean. We can tell from the sole of our slippers we brought in to wear there that we ended up throwing away.

We had nice two day stay at Mission Inn, and I would definitely return. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fine, choices, of cereal, breads, waffles and biscuit and gravy and fruit. It was a short drive to the beach and to downtown. My only complaint was the room service didn't replace kleenex or coffee pods or straighten out the room. The front desk people were quite nice and for the price it is a great place to stay.

Efficient accommodation for a one nights staff passing through Santa Cruz

Clean room, frig, microwave, plenty of outlets. Friendly, helpful staff. Better than average continental breakfast options. Walkable to coffee/bakery, brewery, cute dive bar, food options. Good value for the price.

The pillows and towels had some stains but everything else was clean.

Great location for UCSC and many hip restaurants and shops. Pros: Hotel was clean and somewhat recently renovated, staff were helpful and welcoming, beds were comfortable, free parking, location, breakfast. Cons: shutters that did not block out morning sun, some wear and tear in bathroom in regard to door/towels, AC that turned on and off all night waking us up a bunch, weird comforter without a duvet, TV super laggy and glitchy. Not a bad experience at all, but I think we will try other local places before we’d return. And we’d definitely ask for a room with sun blocking window shades.

The room seems to be newly remodeled, it is clean and cozy, decently sized. Easily accessible from the Main Street, and ample parking. Good options of restaurants along the street. The front desk manager is attentive.

My daughter and I loved our stay here. The hotel property was beautiful and all of the staff were kind and friendly! We will stay here next time we’re in Santa Cruz!
