First of all, dont use hotels.com for this trip bc you will have to pay more than what you reserved for :))))<3 I saw a comment saying that the receptionists only know how to get money and that is absolutely correct. Checkin process was awful. Receptionist were not professional. Nobody explains anything about the hotel, about the locations, eating times and the activities. You are on your own. And the guy who was supposed to take us to our rooms along with the other guests MISSED our room (which we reminded him lol) so we had to walk back and try to find our room by ourselves… (trust me its not easy to find the room bc the number of rooms are not in order) If its your first time in Maldives, you might think this hotel is amazing but We had been to the maldives couple times before and compared to the other hotels, this hotel was missing a lot. Other than these, The room cleaning staff was so nice and the staff in the restaurant were also so nice. The sea and the beach is great but its not easy to see the sharks. Pool is great but there are only 7-8 sunbeds so you better wake up early to reserve your seat hahaha Its a good hotel overall. Except for the communication issues with the reception on the first day, all was great.

다른 리조트에 비해 많이저렴함에도 가성비 최고 음식도 너무맛있도 직원들도 너무친절했어요

룸 컨디션도 좋았고 특히 다이빙 샾 프로그램이 아주 훌륭. 스포츠 센터의 즐길거리도 다양하고 모든 객실에서 조용한 해변을 만끽할 수 있어 좋다

대체로 풍경이 아름답고 식당도 좋고 해양스포츠도 잘 구비되어 있었다. 룸이 설비나 운영도 아주 훌륭했다. 쾌적한 휴양을 즐기기에는 대체로 괜찮은 편. 다만 직원들이 좀더 친절하고 세심했으면 하는 아쉬움이 있다. 한국 과거의 공무원같은 느낌. 최소한의 원칙에 따라 최소한으로 응대해 주는. 고객의 편의를 미리 짐작하여 대응하는 정도까지는 아니라도, 궁금해 하거나 불편해 하는 점에 대해 매우 소극적이고 무뚝뚝한 대응을 한다고 느꼈다. 해양스포츠의 경우 참여자가 대부분 익숙한 경험자들 같았다. 초보자에 대한 좀더 친절한 안내가 있었으면 하는 아쉬움. 예컨대, 스노클링 갈 때 구명조끼를 필요로 하는 사람에 대한 안내가 없어 별도의 질문을 하지 않으면 구명조끼 없이 참여하게 된다.(당연히 지급하는 것으로 생각했기 때문) 투숙하는 동안 리조트 동편은 상당히 많은 바람이 불고, 반대쪽 서편은 전혀 바람이 불지 않는 신기하게 서로 다른 차이가 있었다. 객실 선택시 참고할 필요가 있다. . 두 개의 레스토랑에서 하나는 음식이 다양하고 다른 하나는 물가 풍경이 좋았다. 와이파이는 아주 원활하지는 않아도 큰 불편 없이 통했다. 풍경은 전형적인 몰디브 바다색. 육지 내의 산책로도 아주 좋았다. 수상비행기를 이용했는데, 아주 친절하였으나 섬에서 나갈 때 버스와 짐에 대한 안내가 전혀 없어 하마터면 짐을 잃어버릴 뻔했다. 아찔한 순간.

Es war ein wunderschöner und erholsamer Urlaub. Die kleine Insel ist traumhaft. Ausnahmslos jeder Mitarbeiter war total freundlich und geradezu herzlich. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Wer eine Premium Beach Villa oder eine Water Villa bucht, kann zusätzlich ein A-la-carte-Restaurant besuchen, das Köstlichkeiten anbietet und auch ein separates Frühstücksbuffet hat, mit Tischen direkt am Meer.

A great vacation for relatively little money. The hotel is located on a natural island, so the reefs and corals were excellent. The staff is very polite and helpful. Overall, everything was great.

Overall, we had a great time and all staff members (with the exception of those at Front Desk) were exceptionally kind & professional. Front Desk was once again a complete disaster. This was my third visit to Summer Island, yet the first thing they asked me was to settle my bill for the Christmas Gala Dinner (150 USD/person). At the same time, they failed to inform us about the food & drink credit included in our stay. Only when I specifically asked about it was when they said something about it. Front Desk staff is overly focused on payment collection, which creates an unpleasant atmosphere and undermines the sense of Trust(!) they claim to have toward their “Valued Guests”. They also neglected to inform us about the wine & cheese tasting organised for returning guests. Obviously, they do not even know who their returning guests are. We only discovered the tasting event by chance since Avi Bar staff remembered us from last year. There seem to be too many staff members at Front Desk without clear roles and responsibilities. Their English language skills is limited, and interaction often feels scripted and repetitive, hardly what one expects from a fine island resort. Just like last year, the mandatory Christmas Gala Dinner was a rip-off. To make matters worse, some guest (e.g. in room 273), became seriously ill for several days after the Gala Dinner. This is completely unacceptable! My final remark is that compared to last year prices have increased, yet quality has declined!

Location, natural beauty

Ottimo resort con personale molto cortese e disponibile.Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e ottimi i pasti. Bungalov ampio e pulito con tutto quello che serve per fare una buona vacanza. L'isola offre diversi punti per fare ottimi bagni.Condividiamo in pieno la scelta di limitare la plastica(complimenti). Nel complesso siamo stati molto bene.

La struttura è molto gradevole e funzionale, tenuta bene in un contesto semplice e ben integrato con lo stile del posto. Il personale di servizio è gentilissimo e sempre disponibile. Cibo buono con una buona varietà.

マレ空港から高速ジェットで50分程度。 マレ空港近くの島が最近、船や飛行機などの騒音が多く、マレの高層ビルが目に入ったりと、せっかくのモルジブらしさがなくなっているのですが、ここはとても静かな環境で過ごせます。 また、久々のダイビングで不安だったのですが、丁寧な対応で、初心者でも楽しめるスポットが近くにあり安心です。

I don't understand the people who give less than 4-star reviews to this holiday destination. They must be nitpickers who expect to have the conditions from One and Only Reethi Rah (the neighbouring island) at the prices from the Summer Island. Come on, you could stay there only one hour with the money you paid for two weeks at the Summer Island. All is more than reasonable at the Summer Island, I mean the location, the meals, the staff, snorkelling and diving opportunities.

The property was fantastic, very clean, great facilities and staff overall. The AC was not cooling as well as it should but after running a few hours if would cool the room well.

Food vas various and good quality. Beach is a dream. The service at the hotel. Free water and a fridge in the room. Great aircondition. Beachbeds and towels belong to each apartment. Perfect for friends and couples. The prices on the island is little bit too high.

I had the BEST time at the Summer Island Maldives. Everything was seamless from transfers to food. Absolutely perfect for solo travellers like myself. I had a Superior Bungalow which was unreal and I was fortunate enough to get upgraded to a water bungalow which was a great experience! All staff were amazing and work so hard to keep the island looking pristine. Food was great, I was half board and enjoyed every meal. Prices at the bar was reasonable too for lunch. Only small feedback is for the shop to have more snacks but everything else was PERFECT!!

Alles hervorragend! Werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!
