페스 메디나 중심지와는 조금 거리가 있는 sidi boujida 인근의 숙소입니다. 다만 길찾는데 소질이 있으신 분들은 역주행해서 페스 메디나 중심부까지 가는게 그렇게 어려우실 것 같진 않네요. 블루게이트에서 숙소까지 골목 통과해도 30분이면 옵니다. 숙소 위치는 관광객은 거의 없고 현지인들밖에 안보이는 곳으로 장점이라면 삐끼(?)가 거의 없습니다. 내부 시설은 이 가격대에서는 훌륭한 수준입니다. 방은 준수한 편이고 화장실은 예민하신 분들이라면 샤워시설이 약간은 불편할 수도 있을 거 같습니다. 온수는 잘 나옵니다. 조식은 모로코식 빵이 나오는데 아주 맛있었고 저녁은 미리 관리인에게 얘기하면 10유로정도에 타진, 쿠스쿠스 등이 나오는데 나쁘지 않은 수준이었습니다. 빨래는 잘 해줬는데 10유로를 지불해야 했습니다. 이 숙소에서 가장 마음에 드는 부분은 직원의 친절함이었습니다. 총 네분이 호텔에서 근무하시는데 저희가 머무를 때 가장 많이 마주쳤던 일종의 실장님(?)인 Yassine은 무척 친절했습니다. 현지인만 가는 맛집을 아무런 대가없이 같이 가주기도 하고 여러 팁들을 알려주기도 했고 메르주가를 거쳐 마라케시로 가는 투어를 알아봐주는 것도 잘 도와주었습니다. 무언가 필요한 일이 있다면 언제든지 도와줄 좋은 사람들입니다. 페스에 들릴 일이 있다면 추천드립니다!

택시 내리는 곳까지 와서 길을 안내해주고, 늦은 시간이었는데도 저녁식사를 ㅁ소한 우리를 위해 맛있는 로컬 음식점(모로코 여행 중 가장 맛있었던 식사!)로 안내해주고, 정말 친절하고 좋은 호스트를 만날 수 있는 곳입니다.

입구까지 무거운 저희 두사람의 짐을 들어주시고, 엘리베이터가 없는 대신 직원분들이 대신 짐을 옮겨 줍니다. 직원 친절함은 기본이고, 위치도 메디나에서 가깝고 바로 앞에 시장이 있어서 저렴한 가격에 과일을 맛있게 즐길수있습니다. 호텔에서 추천하는 가이드의 투어도 정말 만족스럽고, 복잡하다는 메디나를 길 한번 잃지 않고 정성스러운 가이드로 만족스러운 투어였습니다. 가이드는 페스에서 가장 좋은 선택이었습니다.

Nous avons été très bien accueillies par Mohammed et son équipe qui sont d un grand professionnalisme : à l’écoute, bienveillants,courtois. Vraiment rien à dire. Les petits déjeuners et repas étaient délicieux et copieux. La chambre très propre, ménage fait tous les jours. Et le Riad magnifique et bien entretenu. Nous recommanderons ce Riad, bien situé, près de la Médina et très correct financièrement. Merci à toute l’équipe, nous garderons un bon souvenir de vous! Clara et Bénédicte

We spent two nights at the riad. The house itself is beautiful, but it’s important to know that the open layout means the rooms overlook the restaurant/lobby on the ground floor, so the noise level isn’t completely calm. You should also be aware that the neighborhood is not a tourist area.

This was the best Riads we stayed at. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They were gave us great tips for around the city and we enjoyed our conversations together. Our room was beautiful and the terrace had an amazing view of Fez. Highly recommend Riad Jamaï especially if it is your first time in Morocco!

Le Riad Jamaï est un beau Riad, la chambre Indigo est très petite et sombre avec un manque d'aération ce qui impose l'ouverture permanente de la seule fenêtre donnant à l'intérieur du Riad. A part cela l'ensemble du personnel est aux petits soins, le copieux petit déjeuner Marocain est excellent. Situé au coeur de la Médina, les + 4000 rues attendent votre visite. Beautiful room and Riad in general. Staff were helpful and pool looked nice even though we didn’t swim in it. The terrace was also great with really nice views over the Medina.

1 star is for the Riad. The staffs seemed nice but created multiple catastrophes to us. First, the location is very remote from the Medina and the staff was not responsive enough to help us arrange a transfer. Second, the staff Safae arranged a tour guide for us saying that was a professional guide will tour us whole day bring us to the major sightseeing spots. We clarified the spots included the palace, blue gate and Medina prior confirming the booking. Of course the guide ended up only brought us to the hard sell shopping places inside Medina, nothing else. We had to find our way get rid of the guide after paying her. Third, the date we departure, another staff didn’t let us leave claiming that we hadn’t paid. Of course we paid as we booked at Hotels.com. We showed her the receipt; she asked us why her colleague told her to ask us to pay and kept trying with us. We almost missed our transfer to the desert. Forth, the drain in shower didn’t work; we soaked our feet to finish washing hairs and shower. We told the staffs the other morning, they said they would fix it and of course they didn’t. The interior of the riad is gorgeous but I recommend not to trust the staffs.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce Riad. Il est bien placé dans la Médina de Fès et vous permet d'accéder a plusieurs lieux à pied. Parcontre, prenez note qu'il est impossible d'y accéder en voiture. Vous devrez vous stationner à l'extérieur de la Médina et vous y rendre à pied. Le Riad offre de belles options de restauration en plus d'un menu d'alcool, qui nous a permis de goûter des vins et bières du Maroc. Le décor et la vue de la ville depuis la terrasse sur le toit était parfait, tout comme le service.

The Riad Jamaï is a peaceful and beautiful place to rest, disconnect and enjoy the city. It’s no near to the Medina, but is easy and cheap take a taxi. The staff is helpful and kind. We dinner at the hotel and the food are so good The pool is small but it’s fantastic to refresh in his wonderful patio. We recommend be a guest at this Riad.

Le Riad est magnifique, le personnel adorable et très attentif. Ils offrent un excellent support pour l’organisation de transferts et de visites guidées de la médina. Je recommande sans réserve.
