Not quite what we expected but on reflection suited us as we have a daughter with a disability and she was able to be herself which is a little noisy and rambunctious. Easy going and no intrusion.

We had a great time & so convenient to walk to beach, boardwalk, hike. Michelle (one of the owners) was so nice and very helpful when my son got a splinter stuck :) highly recommend :)

Great old world deck. Great relax - don’t loose that view

Was very relaxing. It rained the whole time but was absolutely amazing.

Upon arrival we could not contact reception. When someone finally came to to fort Knox type security gate we arranged and paid for parking (was not told about paid parking on booking ). Commented to reception how many stairs there was just to get into reception desk. Nothing more was said by reception so we park car under building and remove bags and proceeded to look for a lift but none. So decided to leave bags at car and once again proceed up 2 flights of stairs when we were confronted by yet more stairs. At this point my wife who has lower body Parkinson's was exhausted and simply couldn't tackle the last 2 flights of stairs. I proceeded to the unit to find air-conditioning busted and a cheep mobile unit in the middle of the lounge with a flexi hose out to the balcony so if you wanted AC you couldn't close the door. Contacted reception again took far to long to respond we were told that there were no ground floor units available and refunded our parking fee with the assurance that there would be no cost as the unit wasn't what was suitable for our needs. But sure enough 3 days later they took the full fee out of our credit card. This was booked through wot if we will never use either of these places again. Still fighting to get our money back. We fully understand the cancelation policy but if the room is not fit for requirements its a bit sad.

Stayed overnight, hotel is in a lovely spot on the hill with a nice view. Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room though. Floor was very dusty and my feet were filthy after walking around for a few minutes. Microwave was dirty, as was freezer, kitchen sink, shower and drawers in the bathroom. No bedside tables/lamps either. Was ok for a night. A few little improvements could make this room much more comfortable.

Simple outside, lovely inside. Open plan so could do with a curtain to give privacy to the bedroom area. Staff very riiendly and helpful. We would stay there again

Manager went out of her way to welcome and ensure check in went well. Overall I was disappointed though. The main thing that will prevent me from returning is the lack of privacy. The blinds are not fitted to the window space and the bed can actually be viewed by the guests in the next room as they enter the shared verandah.

WE were only there for one night for a party so only needed a bathroom and a bed - Villa Coolum met this need completely

Great location, comfy rooms, reasonable facilities, pool, parking and BBQ . Easy walk to beaches.

Stayed for three nights and four of us shared the cabin. Was definitely worth the price and would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice but cheap place to stay at the beach. It's not flashy accommodation, so if you're after the marble floored bathroom this isn't for you. Kitchen does not have a stove, but there is a microwave and shops 20min walk (or 5min bus) away. Very comfortable beds and white towels are provided. For wifi you need to move around a bit on the property to figure out where it's best. Managed to have a somewhat coherent Skype conversation. For schoolies this is an alright place (that's why we were there), but don't host any parties on the property as the cabins are wall to wall and not sound proof. Also you will wake the sweet sleeping dog. Stella needs her rest.

We stayed there two nights and found the room to be comfortable and clean. The gardens are tidy and it is quiet considering the location. The owner contacted me to let me know what room we would be in, in case she was out when we arrived.

Walls a little thin when people talk loudly in middle of the night but great staff and good location

There is asbestos in the rooms and looks like nothing in the picture the driveway is that bad I could drive on it even fell over in the dark trying to walk up it the lounge room is a bedroom the back door well it is not safe one bit never will use them again
