Sharing my experience at Tubotel! They missed our booking for tube with sea view and replaced with double decker + private bathroom & also refund RM50 (I suppose the double decker ones are pricier). To new customers please take note on these: 1) the glass at the door is transparent so need to close the light while changing at night 2) the bed ladder is quite high & no place to hold while climbing so need to be extra careful 3) there is a part of the floor that is broken so need to be careful too if stepped on it. To the management: 1) electricity trips every time I use the hot water 2) the baggage storage is so dusty in my room (the green door) 3) Please consider to provide qibla direction for Muslims customers too. Thank you! Overall I did enjoy the stay for the price paid and had a good sleep. Highly recommended if you will be on a lot on cruise and tour!

Good for backpacker. Not suitable for family. Shared bathroom. But the view are spectacular.

Nice view and clean hotel, good breakfast, friendly staffs and receptionist deposit was myr 50 for the keys, shared bathroom with hot water and toiletries and towels, clean bedding with air conditioner, no in-room safe locker, only bag tray under the bed, lots of indoor and outdoor seating and common areas, thirty minutes walking distance to cenang beach and malls,.

Goood vibes, good view and very good staff.

I love the concept of the hotel, all the staff are friendly. Unfortunately, there is one person (I think she is the owner) she kinda not friendly as the staff. Everything is almost good, except the service from the owner. The breakfast was good.

This is a hostel with a serene and tranquil environment. Located at the sea bank, it only takes 10 mins from the crowded Chenang beach. Except the wash room and toilet that are separated from the room, Tubotel offers a great view, simple yet delicious ala carté breakfast. You might want to consider to buy some snacks from outside before coming back to the hotel because there is no mini market around.

everything was awesome and homey.

At first, we were placed in the room not as per booking, though an upgrade from what we paid. But they immediately change reservation a day after. Staffs are approachable and helpful.

best hotel for a romantic holiday and a great atmosphere. mostly you will fins Europeans here and a great view from the room.

It’s say that one room can fit for 4 persons and we booked for 3, it’s not written that we must booked per person not per room because as in this website the prize is for per room, but later on, when we want to check in, the staff said we only booked for one persons.

Far,not strategic at all, i reserved for 3 people in 1 room, but only get 1 number bunk bed , i don't know the mistake is from the hotel, or the agent itself, you would rather reserved near cenang mall if you want to stay near cenang beach, sure I would not coming back again, and yeah I remembered when the water is off without any reason suddenly

The bathroom water too slow and dirty. The walk through to Tubotel room without awning and raining period need to use umbrella. But umbrella limited. Call to reception nobody answer after 5 pm. Disappointed!

The Tube room was small but just enough for me and my friend. The view from the room was amazing! I enjoyed the surroundings and the cozy areas nearby the room. This is so recommended for those of you travelling as a couple or even backpackers. Its worth everytime of it. Thanks Tubotel for the wonderful 2 nights! 🥇
