If you are looking for really good place to stay for a swan valley experience (vineyards and Guildford history) This is it , look no further . The pub and restaurant is brilliant and the staff are really awesome

I love the old world suburb of Guilford The hotel food is of a high standard and I love the bar cosy and never feel at odds even when I'm a woman on my own Close proximity of the train station was easy to catch the train into the city of Perth I have stayed at Rose n Crown many times over the years because I feel comfortable No fee for parking Tani in reception is warm and interested in where you are from and in the person

Great stay but unfortunately kept up half the night with neighbours fighting. Can't fault the hotel room though, just amazing.

It was a motel at hotel prices. Room was clean, but it is ageing. More importantly, the room was not sound proofed. Guildford sits right under the flight path, so we were woken by very low aircraft from very early in the morning. The pub was cool, but this was definitely a country pub with a motel attached, despite the rates and proximity to the city. It was okay. Might stay again, as it is close to my brother's house, but only if there is a good deal on rooms.

clean and tidy, great location

We had a great stay, super easy to check in. Rooms were nice neat tidy had all we needed for an overnight stay. Food at the bar was excellent loads of choice great size meals . Under 10 min to airport and very well priced

Our accommodation was a motel room. Everything was clean, but a little dated. Check in was easy. Because this hotel is not far from the airport, we had planes overhead during the night. Bathroom was roomy, but if you were small you would not see in the mirror. For a couple of days stay this was ok.

Good pub for dining

For an overnight stay prior to our flight it was very good, large spacious room. The on site restaurant served delicious food and I'd recommend it. We didn't use the airport shuttle as we had to leave at 3am, before they commenced operations.

We where able to check in early which was very helpful.

Nice clean spacious room in a very well maintained property. Noise from aeroplanes taking off nearby is annoying.

Accommodation was comfortable with plenty of space. Dinner at the hotel was excellent, with a great setting.

Staff member was quite short with me on the phone, which was no big deal, but not a great introduction to our stay. We had a lovely dinner, with excellent service from a lady named Pah, at the hotel, for dinner. It was really handy being able to walk 20m to the restaurant and back. The room was clean and neat. We got ready for bed and thats when we started hearing it... the hotel is directly under the flight path for the airport. For the whole night we were constantly woken, or kept awake by the loud roar of planes coming in to land just overhead. It was one of the worst night's sleep I've ever had. I hate leaving a review like this, because the majority of the remaining features such as parking, dining options and the room itself, are all great. It is just not quiet at all.

Its an older style hotel, room decor needs an update, but other than that, very clean, comfortable room, though again matress and pillows could use renewing. Staff were excellent as was parking, exterior, restaurant and pub. Food was suberb, as was service in restaurant. Excellent wine and beer selection and staff were knowledgeable regarding all items on the menu. Will stay again if in the area.

The whole experience was wonderful

This is perfect for a shorter person who loves trains and planes. The door handles are about 650mm from the floor, and anyone interested in trainspotting and with a keen grasp of the Perth airport schedule will love the stay here. Seriously, they are pretty quiet, very comfortable and amazingly clean.

We only found out as we were departing on the morning following our stay that we had been given one of the limited number of units with doors adjoining another unit. There was significant noise transfer via the adjoining unit door. Naturally, had we been aware, we would have chosen one of the units that was not joined to another.

The place was clean and comfortable - very dated and we had a shower that leaked non stop (dripping noise drove me a little batty!) We stayed as was close to a swan valley function we had so location suited us for that reason. Quite overpriced for the dated room we got. Guess it’s the historic charm 😝 service was lovely, pub on premises is quite good and Guildford is a lovely little town! Bed was comfy too.
