The room was more modern than expected. It felt more like a hotel than a motel. Very clean.

Convenient, close to motorway access, close to restaurants and shops, easy parking. Quiet and spacious with new and very comfy beds, black out curtains, little kitchenettes, new tvs with heaps of channels, and more refurbishment to come. Guest laundry - very handy. Very lovely staff.

Such a lovely quiet large room, super comfortable bed and bedding, very clean and convenient for our trip to visit family in Tītahi Bay

The internet doesnt work well on the TV's so couldnt watch any streaming services. Also very loud people in hallway in early morning time. Great location, parking, and close tonlots of stuff. Staff is always friendlt if its a bit higher end on the pricing scale.

One uphostered chair was torn and uncomfortable

As with last time we stayed, we enjoyed our time at Amethyst Court and would happily stay there again.

Convenient to main shopping area and good off street parking

While not the fault of staff or motel, people traipsing up and down the stairs along with noisy shutting of doors for the majority of the night kept us awake and with a 5 o'clock start for us, it was not good.

Comfortable stay close to main shopping centre. Had a late check in and the process was so easy. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Comfy bed, nice to have a slimmer pillow for those of us who sleep on our tummies. Blackout curtains great, good aircon. Close to food outlets

I am glad that my family if 5 stated here. Our stay was fantastic. Staff are people's person. Facilities are awesome. A very safe place to stay. Highly recommended. Can't wait for my next trip.

This was ok for a stopover point, the room was pretty clean and as we were arriving late, the checking staff left a key and clear instructions out for us. However the room had a very strong odour of cigarette smoke in it, a few cigarette burn holes in the curtains and even stronger odour in the bathroom. I am guessing a previous guest thought smoking with the fan on would cover their tracks.. it did not. When we checked out and mentioned it to the receptionist she didn’t seem bothered by it or offer any apology which would have been the least that could be done. The bath also had draining issues, after raking a bath and pulling the plug, the floor drain in the bathroom started overflowing and flooded the entire bathroom.

It good handy to the mall

The colour on the outside was certainly unique! Not sure if I liked it or not! It did make it very easy to see from the road. Really enjoyed it here. Would definately recommend. So close to all amenities.

We stay here often when visiting family. Super comfy beds. Location is excellent.
