A great location tucked away in a bush setting between the beaches of Old Bar and the town of Taree. Warm reception. Travelled with a elderly mother whose accessibility was well catered for. Will be back.

Luxurious, relaxing, peaceful and secluded. Mescal does it with style. Just the best place to stay in Taree. There is great attention to detail and lovely landscaped surrounds.

Mescals is located on a property close to town. As you arrive along a road through trees and past a beautiful dam, you feel immediately relaxed. You are greeted by the hosts who are warm and welcoming. The facilities are immaculate and very comfortable. The rooms look out onto a well kept and inviting garden which beckons you for a walk. Breakfast in the morning is a delight with home made bread and jams and lovely fresh fruit. A country breakfast is also available.

Would stay again very peaceful n serene great hosts n food Spa suite was luxurious and very private. Very romantic. Liked feeding the fish, turtles and eels in the ponds. Vi hamnade här av en slump då allt annat var fullbokat, men ganska snabbt bestämde vi oss att stanna ytterligare en natt. Värdparet var väldigt trevliga och serviceminded, frukosten fantastisk, poolen fräsch, allt rent och snyggt. Vi köpte med oss mat från affären i Old Bar och grillade och åt i paveljongen.. Vi rekommendrar varmt detta ställe och skulle absolut bo där igen om vi var i närheten.

Beautiful place, very friendly people, felt welcome and the fresh hot bread an absolute treat!

We decided at very short notice to take a trip to the Mid North Coast to explore places we've never been. We looked at Mescal's on the Wotif site, it looked appealing and all the reviews were positive. We found to our great delight that Mescal's was everything we could have hoped for. A very warm, friendly welcome, the place was spotlessly clean, the room very spacious and a comfortable bed, in fact we had half a house to ourselves. The gardens are beautiful with birds and other wildlife abounding, all in all a very relaxing environment. Breakfast featured amongst other things a freshly baked loaf of bread with delicious home made jams and marmalade, all in all, it was delicious. We were made to feel very, very welcome and found our hosts friendly and interesting people to converse with. We will return to Mescal's some time in the near future as we found much to like about the area and want to explore some more. We highly recommend this establishment for your stay.
