숙소가 넓은 편이었고 깨끗했습니다. 몬터레이 관광지와도 가까워요.

큰 침대가 있는 방으로 배정해주어 편안하게 지냈습니다. 그런데 아침이 되니 윗층에서 소음이 계속 발생했고 청소하는 동안 발생된 것으로 생각됩니다. 어차피 우리도 체크아웃준비하느라 크게 신경 쓸 부분은 아니었습니다. 위 호텔의 경우 오리털이불이 아니라 담요에 커버를 씌운것이라 밤에 추운것이 문제였어요

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a recent hotel stay I booked through Expedia in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Unfortunately, my experience was far below expectations due to both unprofessional staff behavior and unacceptable room conditions. Upon checking in, I encountered a male staff member who was extremely disrespectful and inappropriate. He commented on my appearance, saying things like, “Why don’t you smile? You have to smile at me. When you don’t smile and your face is serious, I get nervous.” I found this to be unprofessional and intrusive, especially coming from hotel staff who are expected to provide a welcoming and respectful environment.

It was very nice. Sterling the front desk gentleman was amazing. We had a bad experience at the hotel before and he was very understanding. We will be back

Love that the property has designated smoking area as my best friend is a smoker, love staff very quick to help.

Too pricey for an old place

We enjoyed the partial ocean view. It was true to what was described. We asked for a quiet spot and got it. The king sized bed was comfy and the small living area away from the bedroom made things feel more spacious. There is a small step up into the bedroom that caused my husband to stumble. The blackout curtain did not block out the morning sun, so if you're an early riser, it's ok. If not, bring your eye mask. The small fridge and microwave were nice to have. The towels were flat, not fluffy. Breakfast was good. In all, this was a nice Best Western.

It was a good stay! Nice and quiet, good breakfast and easy check in and check out. Close to the aquarium and shopping.

Friendly staff. Room was noisy due to refrigerator. Walls a bit thin woke up due to next door guest coughing. Good breakfast and convenient for overnight stay with family.

The hotel is older but the room was clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and warm!! The breakfast room was a bit crowded but they had a good variety of foods and were very responsive when things ran out.

The price of the suite with the king bed was the best value for quality I have seen in a long time...will definitely recommend this place.

It was ok place to stay for a last minute trip. The customer service was great. The room was super old with newer furnishings. Floors needed mopping for sure, they were super dirty.

Exceptional place! The general manager, Esmerelda, treats this hotel as her sacred ground. Welcoming guests with kindness, warmth and respect. The staff and hotel reflects this. The rooms are modern and absolutely spotless. The pool is sparkling. They serve a real hot breakfast. The exterior is nicely manicured. Excellent parking. And it’s less than 10 minutes to Carmel. So grateful to have found such a wonderful spot that made my vacation effortless grand. Thank you Esmerelda for your charm.
