Very clean and cozy place but if you don’t have a car or a friend who could give you a ride it’s better to use a hotel in the central village. If you drive this is the hotel. Its swimming pool is very nice as well as its garden.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Evening meal great. Pool area/amenities disappointing. A little tired; steam room nonexistent. Saunas squashed into a corner between toilets and showers (in separate male/female cloakrooms) extremely uninviting!!!!

Beds are huge and the staff are jolly and helpful providing excellent service. Communal lounge, dining room and grounds all kept really nice. Spa is more functional than luxurious but good for the price. Only negatives were: - both me and my friends eggs at breakfast tasted very vinegar-y. - Each time the extractor fan was on in my room it was drawing in bad smells eg sewage and cabbage cooking smells. However overall we really enjoyed our stay and are grateful to the staff for making it really pleasant.

Poor breakfast quality. Room was not similar to the photos and seating was much worse. Bed was too soft. Lawns and pool were great though

The food was excellent. The staff were helpful and Friendly. The room was clean, although there was no hooks in the bathroom to hang anything and the shower was leaking at the joint and the temperature control was very sensitive going from warm to very hot with just a minute adjustment.

Rooms clean and tidy. Staff fantastic. They were helpful and friendly. Can’t comment on food as didn’t have any.

My friend and I stayed for three nights. We loved the location. We used the swimming pool and each had a treatment provided by the Spa. The food was lovely. The staff were friendly and accommodating. A great atmosphere. The weather was really good, so we enjoyed relaxing in the garden. It was definitely good value for money. Would 100% stay again.

We were made very welcome on arrival and throughout by friendly helpful staff.Our room 60 with patio was lovely.so we sat in the sun overlooking gadrens listening to birds singing and a Squirrel on the lawn . The pool was just right for a lovely swim . The lounges restorant and general building and garden beautiful. Thankyou Flackley and staff for lovely stay.

Breakfast was disappointing. Expensive and cold. Stayed in August 2025 and breakfast was excellent one of the reasons we returned

Dining room was bright with many windows overlooking garden area. Food and service was very good. Plenty of parking. We were upgraded with small patio with table and chairs. Definitely would stay there again.

Junior Suite was comfortable and spacious with a newly refurbished bathroom (shower over bath). There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room, nice soft towels, robes in the fitted wardrobe, sofa bed made up as a bed in the adjoining lounge when we arrived. The leisure facilities are quite old but we knew this when we booked. The water in the jacuzzi was nice and hot and the pool a good size. Amy in the Beauty Rooms did a great Swedish massage and was very welcoming and friendly. We didn't eat at the hotel but had drinks in the bar both nights. Great cocktails. We would return.

Hotel very clean, lovely breakfast, delightful evening menu, very friendly and helpful staff. Had a dip in the pool and relax in the jacuzzi. Great relaxing stay. Would recommend 👍

Lovely stay, our second visit. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Pool and jacuzzi area was clean and well maintained. Separate female and male saunas which were clean. All staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely bar area and pretty garden to sit in.

Very nice room staff helpfull we stay there a few times a year.

Sorry to be boring....but it was all very good. Place, staff and facilities all great. Definitely recommended
