This is a great location for your first visit to Chiang Mai. This place is close to everything and has a wonderful cafe in front. The staff couldn't be nicer.

Great place!!

EXCELLENT location for walking to night market, shopping, restaurants, sights. Clean, comfortable, and quiet despite being so close to everything. English spoken, very helpful and informative owner who was always ready to help.

Great place to stay. The owner is right there and always helpful. The food is delicious and cheap. There’s also a large “welcome” room with WiFi.

This is the cutest little guesthouse located in a perfect location in old town. The bed was SO comfy, best sleep I'd had since I got to Thailand. Housekeeping daily, lots of towels and 2 bottles of water each day. The gardens are charming. Check in and out super easy. Had a really great stay I would highly recommend this hotel!

Our stay here was great! The owner Aun was a fantastic, friendly and very helpful host. The place had lovely character and in a perfect location. We will be back when we can!

Good central location, nice owner, clean, quiet. We did not like the fact that there is no proper shower space available. The shower was placed in the toilet. Pretty uncomfortable. Room is very small for 2 persons.

We had a wonderful time at Sabuy Chiangmai. The location is excellent, close to dining options and a convience store, 3 Wats (Temples), and in walking distance from the market and China town. Best of all, the proprietor was very friendly and kind, had great tips about what to visit and how to get around town. We loved the common room downstairs with water, a kettle, and a large table to sit and meet other travelers. A little café next door serves breakfast. Should we visit Chiangmai again, we will stay here again.

Fantastic little garden hideaway just off the main strip. Service was excellent, food was lovely, extremely convenient location. Owner was always available and happy to help, with very good English. Would definitely come back.

For the money the place was nice and clean. They cleaned the room daily. The owner was incredibly friendly and his English was excellent. My flight was late and he volunteered to stay late to make sure that I could check in. The only issue was that the shower was a bit cold. I think the heating coil in the water heater needs to be replaced. Not a big deal, I would certainly stay again. The property is beautiful with tons of plant life. There is a breakfast restaurant out front and breakfast is also provided by the property.

Great little spot for backpackers and people looking to get the best bang for your buck. Right next to the temple/stores and cafes. I highly recommend, the owner was very nice :D

Superbe hôtel dans le centre de chiang mai. A côté de temples et d’un marché le dimanche. Propriétaire très sympa. Chambre super propre et agréable.

Very nice stay at Sabuy! I realized after booking that my flight would arrive after the reception hours, and e-mailed them asking if it would be possible to check-in late. They replied super quickly and were fully prepared to handle the issue. Check-in and check-out were both super easy, and they allowed me to leave my bags there for a full day at check-out. The room is nice and super clean, and they managed to keep bugs out of the room. The hallway that leads to the top floor rooms has a lot of geckos but they do not enter the rooms. The shower was nice and the room came with two bottles of water. My only comment is that my room was on the second floor and there is no elevator - I hadn’t seen this mentioned here before. Since I had a suitcase, this made things a bit harder but the owner helped me carry my bags so the problem was easily solved Very convenient location, and recommend the restaurant on the corner (Poppy’s Kitchen). Also conveniently close to a 7/11 with an ATM. You can walk to all temples in the old city.

Such a cute place to stay, felt like we were staying in a fairy garden! The owner was so lovely, always there to supply extra towels, toilet paper etc. The location was also incredible, a 5 minute walk from the night market and right opposite a stunning temple. Our only concern was that there were ants in our bathroom. But we are broke travellers so nothing we can’t handle.

Photos are a bit misleading, please look at them closely. Great spot in the heart of the old city, most of the big temples are walkable distance. Reception isn’t clearly marked so we found it hard to ask questions during our stay.

La propiedad es excelente!! Nos encantó! Un lugar super acogedor, la atención del personal es super amable, dispuesta a ayudarte en todo! Regresaría mil veces más! Está súper bien ubicado cerca de todo y precisamente a la vuelta se encuentra Blue Noodle un restaurante de fideos súper delicioso! Definitivamente en mi regreso a Chiang Mai me alojaré en Sabuy!
