I have stayed in 3 hotels during my trip to Cape Town this time and this is the best accommodation I have had. Everything from the welcome from Wayne, the assistant manager, the property itself, the view to all the staff that we have encountered etc. this place is truly excellent and I look forward to staying longer the next time I’m in the country!

Excellent hotel - luxurious

Loved this boutique hotel, staff were genuinely friendly, breakfast room decor was gorgeous and the breakfast itself was beautiful & delicious. Loved my stay.

30 mins from the airport and located in the heart of Camps bay area. Beautiful, cozy, safe, modern and clean property with the best bay views in the city. Highly impressed with caretaker Sasha and the night manager who are always available for any kind of assistance. 10 mins walk to the Promenade with all the restaurants and shopping. Hop on and off bus stop in front of the promenade which connects you to all the Cape Town attractions and tours. If I ever come back to the city, I would definitely stay here again. . They have EVERYTHING in the room, from bottled water to flat iron, robes and slippers. Felt like home. Breakfast was great as well.

We had an amazing stay at Lion’s Eye and cannot wait to return on our next trip to Cape Town! The staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable. Room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and the hotel breakfast was delicious which was enjoyed over beautiful views of Camp’s Bay. A true boutique hotel experience.

Amazing place

The guest house is located about 5 minutes walk from the main strip, with coffee shops, bars and restaurants of Camps Bay/Bakoven within 5-10 mins walk. The setting is stunning with The Apostles just behind the guest house and the sea view in front. The owners and the staff are all friendly and welcoming, with a well stocked "honesty bar", and a buffet breakfast with freshly cooked choices of additional menu items. Camps Bay itself has possibly the best fish restaurant I've ever been to (The Codfather) and a good mix of bars and restaurants, plus a small shopping mall. I stayed in the centre of Cape Town for most of my stay in the area, but enjoyed the couple of days in Camps Bay immensely, and the guest house was an integral part of that.

Detta var utan tvekan det bästa stället vi bodde på iSydafrika. Underbar solnedgång på uteplatsen med en underbar utsikt. Sängarna var hel magiska och vilken frukost, makalös. Om du ville ha en drink på kvällen så blandade man den själv, det fanns ett stort utbud av allt man behöver. Jag säger bara det Bo Här

Great view from our room and shower!!! Private balcony with bean bag loungers was great. Good location - very easy to walk to restaurants and beach. Delicious cooked breakfast available. Honesty bar was nice although it had run out of white wine when I wanted a glass!!! Staff very amenable although not sure how knowledgeable they were about local information/tips and hints on what to do or where to go/weather forecast etc Really enjoyed our stay here though - lovely contemporary and comfortable accommodation with a small but perfectly adequate pool for cooling off in. Also secure parking was available after prior arrangement.

Could be a stunning place to stay, but it is not super clean, art work is poor, feeling is of a semi-abandoned gorgeous contemporary home that could, with little effort, be made to be utterly stunning and superior with better on-site management and focus on details. Owner are absentee and it shows.

My wife and I stayed in the Penthouse Suite for our honeymoon in Cape Town. This hotel was amazing. The room in absolutely incredible. The balcony in enormous with a nice hot tub on it and the view is stunning. The service here is first class. We had a late flight in and they had no problem accommodating a late check in for us. We loved the honor bar and the breakfast was excellent. Next time we are in Cape Town we will be staying here again in the same room.

Das Hotel ist sehr modern und neu eingerichtet. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Personal wirklich super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Aussicht vom Balkon und dem Frühstücksraum war toll. Das Frühstück bestand zum Teil aus einem Buffet (Müsli, Croissants, frisches Obst, Joghurt etc.) und zum anderen aus frisch zubereiteten warmen Speisen (gefüllte Croissants, Sandwiches, Pancakes etc.). Das was wir probiert haben war alles sehr lecker. Fußläufig ist der Strand und die Lokale in ca.10 Minuten zu erreichen (Hop on Hop off Busstation ca. 15 Minuten). Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen!

I stayed 2 nights in the Atlantic room. It was fantastic. The room was huge, modern, clean and had the best view. The house had a sumptuous breakfast and was close to several restaurants and a Woolworth's. The beach was within a 15 minute walk as was the Hop on, Hop off sightseeing bus stop.

The most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Breathtaking views, stunning rooms and fantastic staff. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
