Very comfortable room, nice clean bathroom. The walls are a bit thin though so we could hear other neighbours, although everyone was asleep at night so no problem to sleep at all. The location of the hotel is great, it is a bit out of the town, in the middle of the valley. The garden is amazing and you can walk to the well a bit far down and to the town itself. The breakfast was very generous and varied.

I don't go away to find fault anywhere, but usually something will be wrong. That did not happen here, great location, great food, lovely people and exceptionally clean. We can't wait to return

My first night here was on Monday 1st June. I was travelling around the area for work. I enjoyed it here that much, I booked back in on the Wednesday 3rd. It’s a great location, great food and fantastic staff. I travel around the country for work, no doubt I will be staying here again when in the area.

À lovely venue for some « off the beaten track » relaxation. Grounds are lovely with many quiet escapes. Great menus, well thought through and cooked in House. Breakfasts are brilliant with lovely hand made préservés and cereals. All in all, highly recommended.

What a wonderful place to stay. Lovely little touches make it feel like home. Food was superb, breakfast cooked to order so nice and fresh. Great choice for evenings too. The gardens are awesome. It is a credit to Francesca, Mark and the rest of the staff. We will certainly stay there whenever we are in the area.

Very clean and welcoming property. Restaurant food very good, well stocked bar and breakfast exceptional. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Definitely recommended and we will use again.

We booked the small double which was very clean and cosy. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice. They have a restaurant for evening meals which was great. Plenty of parking available.

This was our second visit. That should tell you something. We again liked the inn with good variety of of breakfast options, room was spacious, plenty of free parking. It was convenient for the attractions we wanted to visit. Dinner, optional extra, is available and very good quality. We would like to visit again.

Perfect staff food everything

Healthy choices for breakfast. Amy on breakfast service was excellent, rooms clean and comfortable, some had pets luckily kept away but should be kept quieter, not the establishments fault the standed failure of the owners!!!

I had a small but very comfortable room at the Waterwheel. The bed was roomy for a single person and the shower was excellent. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and the meals were good. This is a well run hotel and very good value for money.

Hotel in lovely location and grounds were wonderful, the food in the restaurant was good and room was very comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing, gardens were fabulous. Would recommend this property to everyone and would certainly book to go back again.
