Enjoyed the porch area

Room was clean and amenities available.. Too many decorative pillows for the size/ space available.

The property’s outdoors was not kept up, the room temps were hot, no breakfast was served, never met the owner and all the doors leading into the B&B were always unlocked (not safe) Did speak with the owner Deb and we are supposed to get a discount , but she has not connected with me yet

No one was there to check us in. Waited close to a half hour- called the number at the desk 6 times. Mailbox was full, so we left. Very poor customer service.

Didn’t actually stay the night as no one was available to check us in. A nice note was at the front desk saying they were close by and to call. Called and it went to voice mail but mail box was full. Waited awhile and left to find alternate lodging. Too bad, as it was too late for a refund.

There was no one at the property when we arrived. After we called a number someone arrived about 15 minutes later and explained that the business model had been changed and it was no longer operating as advertised- they were no longer offering breakfast and to be fair we were offered a reduction in price When we were shown to our room it was very dark and dusty. The bathroom wasn’t much better- the grouting and seal around the bath and shower were horrible It seems to be operating as a longer term residential property. The other guests who were staying left discarded cigar butts on the ground outside the decking. We asked for our booking to be changed to one night only which was agreed to Very disappointing after reading all the positive reviews.

Absolutely perfect rooms. There was a few minor things that needed some handyman work but they were so minor compared to the room and the stay itself. Clean rooms, clean bathroom.

This was a great old Victorian place. The host Deb is excellent. Will stay again.

I would recommend this place to anyone! Such a cute, quaint little spot. Very clean and welcoming. Deb will do anything to make your stay comfortable!

Our first time in a B&B. Friendly host! Quiet! The breakfast was great!

My husband and I had a great time visiting South Dakota the satay was amazing the host was very friendly breakfast was amazing and very tasteful room was clean comfortable. Overall we loved our stay if we travel again to South Dakota we will book out stay again….

This is a B & B which cost me less than a substandard hotel. Enjoyed my stay and will return.

No one to meet us when we arrived and no staff member was there after we came back from a meal.

Thought I'd have to talk bad about what really is an excellent place; I'm very thankful Deb made things right! Let me explain - I originally booked a room with a lower rate than the other ones available, but my credit card was charged a much higher amount when I checked in. The next day I called Expedia to see if my booking was priced inaccurately on their end, but nope! Turns out Deb inadvertently booked me a more expensive room amid the slew of reservations she was handling. Realizing this after checkout, she deeply apologized and then graciously refunded me the difference. By holding herself accountable, Deb renewed my belief that most people are inherently good and just doing their best! The rest of my experience was lovely (yummy breakfast, plenty of snacks, hot shower, great night's sleep, etc.). Largely thanks to Deb, I'd definitely stay here again if I ever find myself back in Pierre!

Wonderful room, friendly staff and breakfast made to order. We had a great time.

very nice room and comfortable bed. Deb, the owner, was very friendly and helpful at check in and gave dinner suggestions and even gave lotion when I asked where I could buy some. Shower was very nice and breakfast was cooked to order in the morning. Would highly recommend.

Comfortable beds and good room temperature. Also clean. Only needed the ceiling paint to be fixed up.

BAT in my room.- YES a BAT !! under the pillows on the bed... came out at nightime.
