총평: 별 너다섯개 짜리 호텔에도 몇 차례 묵었었는데 이 숙소가 여행 멤버 모두가 꼽는 최고 숙소였습니다. 호텔 예약 사이트 사진 상으로는 클래식해 보였는데 투숙객들 평가들이 좋아서 예약한 곳이었는데요. 실제 가보니 굉장히 세련되고 cozy하게 구석구석까지 주인 아주머니의 인테리어 감각과 센스가 느껴졌어요. 하다 못해 정원 화분 하나까지도요. 집안에 생화 화분까지 있는걸 보고, 주인 아주머니께서 마치 본인 집처럼 관리하시는구나 느꼈습니다. 독채 집을 사용하는거라 넓고 독립적이며 개별 정원까지 있어요. 정원 내 테이블과 의자도 있구요 슈퍼 깨끗. 청결. 주방 기구도 종류별로 깨끗하게 모두 갖춰져 있고(아마 투숙객이 주방기구 씻어놓은 것을 아주머니께서 전부 깨끗하게 다시 다 세척하시는듯) 세탁기와 건조대까지 있었어요. 수건도 많고 새것이라 정원 딸린 내 집과 같었습니다. 리노베이션을 한지 얼마 안되서 너무 좋았네요. 렌트카 여행하시면서 저녁 비행기로 론세스톤 도착하시거나 오전 출발 비행기로 론세스톤 출발하시는 분께 강추합니다. 공항까지 차로 5분도 안걸렸던거 같네요.

A unique town in northern Tasmania known for its penny farthing bike race. Worth getting off the highway for a visit. Will certainly go back.

Arendon Cottage had everything we needed, right on the main street. Perfect for the Pennyfathing races and the Sunday Market. Our hosts were wonderful. We could live there quite happily

It was an ideal location for our visit to Evandale, close to everything we wanted to do and very well presented. The cottage is nicely renovated, it was warm (a must in a Tassie autumn) and quiet. We didn’t have a lot to do with the owners but found the lady very friendly when we did. Definitely recommended.

Handy location to the airport. Great breakfast supplies. No dryer was inconvenient. I’d rather pay $10 a night extra when you are travelling to wash and dry your clothes.

We were late arriving and the proprietor arranged access to the premises. The rooms were warm and comfortable. The cottage had a homely feel. The kitchen was well-equipped with matching china. The provision for breakfast was good. The bathroom and shower excellent with plenty of towels if needed. The cottage is a short walk to the shops.

A very comfortable stay in a beautifully renovated cottage with modern amenities in a charming village full of equally wonderful restored buildings. The washing machine was a bonus. Simple breakfast supplies were plentiful.

After a long day we were delighted to open the back door of Arendon Cottage and see our digs for the night. It is so well appointed and comfortable, a perfect place to stay. The gardens are so pretty and it is in the heart of a lovely Tassie village.

Arendon is a lovely cottage situated in the village of Evandale. The cottage is extremely clean with everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is very private with a nice courtyard. Breakfast supplies are provided for length of stay. Karen is a wonderful host and had the heater on for us when we arrived which was very much appreciated. Evandale is a pretty village which we used as our base for exploring North East Tasmania.
