If you do not get a room with seaview then be ready to have a room without a view since building is at the back. Balcony is useless because no view and also you will have the smell of the restaurant below. This should be mentioned that the rooms at the back have no view. Bathroom is very small but worse, no extraction fan or windows to open...

Best thing in the hotel is the staff! Bathroom is tiny, I was only for 1 nigth, but for longer stays could be a problem, you may not be able to take a shower

Friendly staff!

This was an amazing stay on the island of Aegina. The hotel is located close to the port and directly across from the sea with restaurants and the public beach a 2 minute walk away. The main area of restaurants and shops was also only a few minute walk away. The family run hotel offered wonderful hospitality and offered to hold luggage until rooms were ready. My room was very clean and had everything I needed. I was warned that the shower was really small (which it was) but it was functional and served its purpose. The staff was more than willing to help make my stay enjoyable and offered to use contact to make sure I had everything needed to make my stay a success. I would definitely stay here again on the island!

Hotel extrêmement bien tenu par une famille , père et fils vraiment formidable à tous les égards . A environ 300 mètres du centre et du port , 200 m du départ des bus et pratiquement en face de la plage. Merci , A l ' année prochaine.

Lovely basic hotel. Spotlessly clean. Has everything you need. The family that own it are absolutely amazing. The loveliest of people. Can't do enough for you. Only little problem we had was size of the shower. Very small. Had lovely restaurants and shops right on your doorstep. We ate at the Ivora most days and food was very good. Can't wait to return 😊

Great place to stay in Aegina! I only spent one night there, but I had a really positive experience. Honestly, the photos online don’t fully capture how nice the place actually is…it’s even better in person. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, and everything felt comfortable and well taken care of. One small note: the bathroom is quite tiny, but that’s fairly common on the island, so just keep that in mind and please be tolerant. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Aegina, even for a short stay.

While it’s a one-star hotel, this in no way detracts from the quality of the stay, which was exceptional! The room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and equipped with all necessary amenities. The staff is genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive, offering an authentic experience of Greek hospitality! Perfect location, right by the sea and just a few minutes’ walk from the port, with everything you need within reach. Excellent value for money and a top choice hotel that exceeded all expectations!

Friendly and helpful owner

We loved our stay at Hotel Plaza! The Kalamakis were so welcoming, and such a pleasure to deal with. Both brother’s and their father were so friendly, nice, and just made us feel so at home. As two girls travelling together, we felt so safe staying here. The room was clean and smelled amazing. The location was perfect! A short walk from the ferry terminal and walking distance to the beach and the downtown area of Aegina town. Highly recommend this hotel for the perfect stay in Aegina, and would definitely come back!

Convenient location. Quick walk to downtown. Across from the beach and yummy restaurants. Owner is very nice. He made our stay much better. The room we had was smaller, wish ocean view wouldn’t have been sold out. That looked more spacious

Kanske tvätta balkongen, annars helt funktionellt rum. Fantastisk personal, far o 2 söner behandlade mig nästan som familjemedlem. Ingen frukost ingick. Helt ok för mig. Ingen hiss. Helt nära stranden vid sidan av hamnen o gatorna med restauranger o butiker. Vattnet klart. Skönt med morgondopp.
