The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was a bit noisy, which made it slightly harder to sleep, but I still had a good night's rest overall. The breakfast was excellent and definitely a highlight of the stay. The price for one night was on the higher end, but that seems to be the case almost everywhere these days. Overall, I had a good experience.

Only one ice machine in the place. It would be ok except the workers staying emptied the machine every morning. Wifi was brutal. I have a speed test and it barely moved. There is NOT ONE SINGLE port to plug in any phones or iPad. Had to buy a unit to charge equipment. It is 2026 not 1996 !

Property needs maintenance. There are patches of stains and repairs. Carpets are very old. Staff are helpful.

Great value for what you receive. Would benefit from a complete refresh given the age of the hotel but a very good stay regardless.

Wifi was crap, crappy blankets, brown water from the.taps. parking is tight. Lots of rude contractors and workers rent rooms. Very ignorant guests.

Communication with staff was extremely difficult ahead of the stay. We did not get the rooms that we reserved, though we attempted to confirm weeks, days and hours ahead.

Stranded in Dauphin during a flood and unable to travel to swan river for 3 nights. Staff made last minute changes to accommodate our stay each day as situation warranted. Ensured we did not have to change room with each need to extend our stay. Dauphin also experienced flooding. Staff updated us on areas to avoid. Hotel short staffed with staff able to get to work. Cleaning staff accommodated our needs to provide us with room supplies, when we tried to lighten their responsibilities for our room. Breakfast time extended and monitored to ensure adequate food available. This hotel is one of our favourite!?

A thought: If you’re on your feet for long hours doing physical work, a breakfast with plenty of protein like eggs, bacon would be a good asset.
