The staff were very accommodating. We had booked a night stay for a wedding and arrived at 11 to get changed in a friends room who was already there. Our room was obviously not going to be ready as check in was at 2pm however the staff allowed us to check in early and even gave us the key ready so we would not have to leave the wedding and said we could leave our luggage outside the room and they would put it in for us. Our room was however then ready before we left so we could do it ourselves. The themes on the rooms are animals and there was lovely touches in each room. Rooms were all clean and comfortable with everything you could need. We pre-ordered our breakfast upon arrival and it was ready for us the next day. There was a good selection from cereal to a full English which I think our group all enjoyed. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Comfortable and spacious

Food outstanding Stayed a few times . Always helpful.

The staff were amazingly helpful, however there were a few issues with the room. The TV signal was poor and we could not watch anything without the picture constantly pixalating. The room itself was spacious and nice. The other issue we had was with the shower head. It would not stay up and kept flopping down which make it difficult to rinse off and the extractor did not work either. A final suggestion would be to replace the headboard on the bed as you could not sit up on the bed and try to watch TV as there was no where to put your head as the current headboard was wood and hurt your back if you tried to rest against it. Everything else was fine.

Food for both breakfast and evening meal was excellent, well prepared and tasty.

Staff was VERY friendly, room was big and clean. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms get quite warm in summer. With a heatwave on the room was 35 degrees late at night. But cannot fault the hotel for that ;).

I have to say that the staff were super friendly and very welcoming, not only the bar staff but also the breakfast chef and even the cleaner! The inn was situated in a nice out of town area surrounded by fields. There is a business nextdoor but there was no overnight noise from it. The food and the beer were amazing too. I would thoroughly recommend the basque cheesecake! Could it have been a bit cleaner? Well the carpet in the room could have been vacuumed better but it wasn't awful, just a couple of bits here and there, everything else in the room was spotless. The shower wanted to be hotter than I like but had I been staying with my wife she would have loved it so it's down to personal choice. I stayed in Horse and it was huge! (The room not the horse).

Room with fridge was a real bonus. Spacious, clean room and bathroom. Breakfast out of this world. Filled us up for the day. Chefs were just so accommodating and kind including all the staff from Cleaners to bar staff. Food in evening was 1st class we loved our stay and definitely will come back again.

The room was spacious and clean and the bed was large and comfortable. Decaf and ordinary coffee, tea and hot chocolate supplied and refreshed each day. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

Nice small hotel/ inn. Only 4 animal themed rooms. The staff were all lovely. Large bar and dining area with a great beer garden. The food was excellent, with an interesting menu and nicely presented. Would definitely stay again.
