전체 평가 및 리뷰 Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington DC NoMa Union Station

넓은방, 주방시설, 멀리지만 피스톨 top이보이는 전망이 좋았습니다. 그러나 조식이 너무 아쉬웠습니다. 워싱턴 안에 주차료가 워낙 비싸서 이 호텔을 정했지만 걸어서 돌아가니실 예정이라면 그쪽으로 선택했어도 괜찮았을것 같네요~

직원들이 친절하고 객실도 깔끔합니다. 기대하지 않았어서 그런지 조식도 무난했습니다. (제공된 음식수가 많았던 건 아닙니다) 우버로 이동하기에 지역명소와 크게 멀지도 않았습니다.

I did not stay at this property. I got there

The staff was great!!! The complimentary breakfast was decent, especially the waffles. The room was nice and clean. Things I didn’t like: I had to keep requesting toilet paper, towels, face/wash clothes and soap. There were no complimentary toothpaste or mouthwash. There was NO BACON on the breakfast buffet. Even though the bathroom was nice and wheelchair accessible, it allows the floor to become wet, which allows water damage to set in. I didn’t see mold but you could see rust colored water staining (maybe rust in the water). I paid quite a bit for two nights but I was in town for Treasure concert (which was AMAZING) so the gauge in pricing was expected. I must say the whenever we request something it was brought to us right away and the young lady working the buffet stayed on top of keeping everything refilled from plates and cups to food.

El shuttle que iba y venía todo el día a Union Station y a Noma Station era algo muy útil. La habitación es muy amplia, el personal amable. El desayuno es bueno pero puede ser mejor.

The only thing I was disappointed about was customer service. After driving close to 4 hrs we arrived with our 3 kids by 10:30pm. There was no parking in the initial lot. When I went inside it seemed like I was bothering someone to open up the second parking floor. The staff were not warm or welcoming. They looked just as tired as I was that night. I was told there was a shuttle to take you anywhere within 1 mile of the hotel and back. After coming back on the Metro NoMa-Gallaudet location I tried to call the hotel for about 10 min - no answer. I was trying to connect with the hotel to ask about the free shuttle. I ended up walking back to the hotel. Hotel itself was clean and the rooms are spacious.

Saturday night a local arcade/bar was so noisy that we couldn’t sleep.

The hotel staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We did have an issue with a neighboring guest’s dog barking on a few occasions, but the front desk staff was attentive and understanding of our concerns. It would be nice if there were more restaurants within walking distance, and it was rather pricy to park on the site, which I would recommend anyway as there weren’t any other close areas to securely park. Driving distance to the arena and central city area was not too bad, just have to be vigilant and mindful of hectic city driving. The hotel breakfast had a good variation and we were able to grab snacks from the back bar in the lobby as needed. Beds were comfortable, and the towels were pretty standard. Overall, would recommend for shorter or weekend stays.

The property was more on the average side. It was clean and tidy though. My only main complaint would be parking because it's expensive and ridiculous. You already spend a ton on the room and then having to pay $50 for overnight parking per night? Insane. And what's worse is that if you already pay for parking and the garage is full there's nothing they can do. You're just out of the money and a place to park.

I usually enjoy my stay here, as I visit often for work. On this particular trip my room was on the same floor as people traveling with pets. Every night l listened to dogs barking and had to complain to the front desk several times. On this particular trip it was very cold and snowy. I did notice that people from outside of the hotel were allowed to come in for breakfast. I don’t mind this, but wishing knew this was a practice ahead of time.

The hotel was clean and a good location. All the staff was friendly. We didn’t have conditioner the first day and when we called to have someone bring it up, nobody ever brought it. So the next day we had to ask again, but by this time we also needed more tissues and coffee. Also, the second night the light went out in the shower/toilet room and wouldn’t come on. We called and the engineer came up and fixed it in five minutes. Somehow, something had come loose. The suite was nice and spacious, but the tv was in an awkward position which would make it difficult to watch from either the sofa or the bed. Not sure why it was in the location it was in without being on a swing arm bracket? Anyway, for the price it was a nice room, in an upcoming location.
