Fantastic stay!

Very peaceful place. Staff is super friendly. Food and drinks are lovely. I enjoyed the morning yoga and meditation. The beach loungers could use some repairs.

Comfortable, friendly and relaxing stay with plenty to do! My stay at Alaya Tulum was amazing, from the moment I booked my stay I was contacted via WhatsApp by the service desk to confirm transportation to the hotel and to answer any questions I may have. Upon arrival me and my girlfriend got a couple complimentary drinks and even a welcome bottle of sparkling wine in our room. The property has a nice natural setting and full of palms, trees and climbing vines amongst the rooms. There are little notes around pointing out wild critters that may pass through the grounds at night (raccoons, coati, stripped iguanas and opossums). The beach is kept clear and clean each day and offers a great swimming spot at low tide. Or you can chill on the lounge chairs with coconuts or drinks from the hotel. The hotel not only offers daily yoga sessions in the mornings but every now and then meditations. The yoga was a pretty great way to stretch out before a snorkel trip. There are also many excursions you can book through the hotel like the biosphere tours, snorkelling, ruins tours and cenote visits or you can rent some bikes and go do some cenote hopping. The staff were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. Erik and Sofia were always at the front desk to help with questions or to make arrangements. Marcelo always made me and my girlfriend feel at home at Alaya Tulum if we ordered drinks he would happily offer to bring it to our rooms if we wanted and reccomended some great drinks.

Ocean front room was perfection! Watching the sun rise over the ocean from bed, having breakfast served on the patio while watching the waves, listening to the sounds of the surf while drifting off to sleep all made the trip magical! All the staff were lovely, food and drinks were delicious and perfect location on the beach! Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alaya Tulum. Accommodations were nice. Clean, comfortable room with easy access to the beach. Quiet resort with great staff. Would recommend.

This is a great alternative to the Loud Beach Clubs on the street, Very low key w/Great service and Breakfast!

Really great location. Felt like I was on my own deserted island. Room was like an island treehouse. Listening to the ocean at night on my own deck was amazing. Food was excellent and great staff made this a very enjoyable stay. If I’m ever back at Tulum beach I will know where to stay!

Unforgettable and romantic experience! This hotel became our second home, our room was spotless and beautiful, the beach was beautiful and you can get service to your beach beds, the amenities, the food and wellness services like everyday yoga at 8 am really made our stay a wonderful time, my husband and I will certainly come back as soon as we can, thank you so much Alaya Tulum!

Lovely stay! I enjoy resorts with fewer rooms. Alaya was perfect!! Beautiful room. Beautiful beach location. Exceptional staff. Onsite restaurant, morning yoga & beach front massages was a plus, plus. Definitely going to stay here again!!

Alaya Hotel was a lovely stay. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and made us feel comfortable. Daniel helped us check in after a long travel day, and was super informative and welcoming! He made our check in quick and easy so we could immediately relax (Thanks Daniel!) The room was lovely and tropical, room service was great, waitstaff were smiley, and the food was awesome!

Amazing personalized service since there is only 20 rooms on the entire property. Communicate via WhatsApp for instant replies and quick action. Rooms were clean and beautiful. Breakfast can be improved.

Absolutely beautiful. Staff was great. Town is very expensive. No pool here, but the beach is amazing.

This little boutique hotel was like staying in a wellness focused luxury treehouse in the jungle. We absolutely loved our stay. Lush greenery all around and from every window view. A gorgeous beach with excellent beachside loungers, towels, and a bar. The staff and service were exceptional at every moment of our stay. The AC also worked very well during our December visit. We stayed in a garden view room with a kitchenette. The cooking tools were minimal but enough to prep simple meals for two. The tacos and Pina Coladas at the onsite restaurant were delicious. Real ingredients and handmade tortillas. We enjoyed the morning yoga class as well. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful and slightly rustic refuge. Note: Rooms on the ground level are recommended for folks that have challenges with stairs. As two 40 year old fit and able-bodied folks, we did fine getting up the spiral staircase to the upper levels of the main building thanks to help from the staff with our luggage.
